Ravina

I had been pacing back and forth in my room out of nerves for seeing Siren. Honestly, I never really thought ahead of just asking to see her again. Obviously I thought Nathaniel would catch on me trying to find an opening to appease my agenda.

I don't know if he did and there's no time to dwell on that. The fact is, I have to find a way to get Sirena to a meeting with Angus and I will have done my part there. I already told Angus that I was successful in getting only her here and not her husband.

He threw a fit.

Judging by how Domenico acts around Siren, I believe she has just as much authority in their business as her husband. If I'm being honest, I wish she could teach me her ways. I mean I don't expect Nathaniel to include me in his underground business, but it has already been a month and I have not heard a single thing about his work from him.

If I can't work, I could at least get something going on.

I suppose he wouldn't think that I would be interested in such a thing. I'm not much into business but I am interested in learning all the time. I'm a flexible person. If taught well, I can catch on pretty quick. I didn't even like going to med school but I excelled because I was focused, I did well.

"She's here." I turn on my heel once I hear Angela at my door.

I face her brown eyes to see there's some twinkle in them, it seems she's excited by our new company as much as Angus is. I take a deep breath before mustering a smile on my face.

I walk out of the bedroom and head for the stairs. I hear the sound of footsteps and talking downstairs, or rather someone instructing Xavier. Someone other than his actual boss, he's probably dreading that.

"Break anything, and I break you twink." I hear her last words as I come into view.

"Siren!" I call out once I get on the bottom of the stairs. Xavier and two guards carry Siren's luggage as they walk past me. "Take them to the guest bedroom and please ask Angela to unpack for her, I'll show her there when we're done." I instruct them.

"Yes ma'am." They agree before walking past me.

Xavier stops for a moment before facing me. "I don't like her." He says before walking away. I hold back a laugh, seems like Siren's forte is to leave a room hating her. I like it.

"Your men are grumpy." States Siren when she stands in front of me.

I am once again reminded by her unbelievable height. Or rather I'm not the tallest person in the world. She's a big girl by height and her body is well built to show how hard she works out. And trains too, because I hear she used to be an assassin. Now she's her husband's hitwoman.

She has a very interesting career if I may say. She's the perfect example of a Mafia wife, I'd bet a million she could build her own Mafia and it would be successful.

"Just like their boss. But I'm more welcoming don't worry." I reply smiling at her.

She gives me a smirk before looking around us. "Don't worry little birdy, no one is around us anymore. You can tell me why you really want me here." She crosses her arms with a look of suspicion.
