No trigger warning just a whole lot of gay romantic tension

It was a still morning, about a week after the incident. Husk managed to get up without waking Angel, quietly exiting the room.

He grabbed a bunch of roses, pink and white, carefully going back into the room. He sprinkled the petals all around the room, making sure some of them were in a heart shape.

He set a card down on Angel's chest, the sparkly card light. It was handmade.

He set a paper crown on Nuggs head, grinning at the pig. He exited the room again, this time staying downstairs.

Cherri was setting up balloons, Charlie and Vaggie hanging up a banner. Lucifer made a few ducks, even one of Fat Nuggets.

Husk smiled, Nifty making sure everything was perfectly clean. Cherri giggled at how fast Nifty was going, setting out presents.

Alastor helped Charlie and Vaggie. Cherri came over to Husk. "He's still asleep right?" "Yeah." "Okay, good. Streamers or no?" "I don't think it matters if they're there or not. He probably wouldn't notice them either way. Do what you think feels right."

Cherri nodded, walking off to go decorate more. There was a very soft knock at the door, Husk walking over to open it. Velvet stood there, holding a wrapped box and a bag. "I'd come in but I have a whiny baby in the car, and another one at home. The bag is from me, the box from The whiny TV in the car. Tell him I said happy birthday. Valentino is giving him something whenever he gets back. I don't approve of it but I can't stop him."

"Will do. Thanks." Husk smiled, taking the things out of her hands. She walked away, Husk closing the door.

Husk set the two gifts with the rest of them, adjusting his bracelet. Lucifer went into the kitchen to make breakfast, Charlie smiling brightly.

"It looks amazing in here!" She squealed, Vaggie placing a hand on her shoulder. "Keep it down some." She suggested. "Oh, yeah, right-"

Husk looked around, smiling. There were a lot of decorations, most of them light pink. Presents all sat on a table, most of them wrapped neatly, or in bags. Roses were littered around the table with presents, most of them pink and red.

Charlie helped Lucifer set the table, placing roses in the center. "I think everything's all done." Vaggie said, glancing at Husker. "Good to wake him up."

Husk nodded, fixing his tie. He walked upstairs, pushing open the door to Angel's room. He sat on the edge of the bed, moving hair out of Angel's face. He gently shook Angel's shoulder, the spider stirring.

Angel rubbed his eyes, sitting up. He tilted his head, picking up the card. A small smile crept onto his face as he read it, glancing at Husk.

"Mornin'." Husk said, already smiling. Angel giggled, glancing around the room. "Why are there so many rose petals?" "cuz." Husk said. "I already fed Nuggs."

Angel stood up, stretching. He set the card on his dresser, walked into the bathroom to wash his face, and put some makeup on. Husk waited in the room patiently, messing with Nuggs.

Angel returned, Husk standing up. He offered Angel his hand, the white spider taking it. "You should close your eyes." Husk suggested, Angel groaning. "Finee."

Husk carefully led Angel downstairs, grinning. "Okay, you can open them now." Husk said. Angel opened his eyes, confetti falling onto him elegantly.

" Happy birthday!" Cherri grinned, punching Angel's arm. Charlie squealed, "Happy birthday Angel!"
