Trigger warning: this chapter is very graphic, and things move quickly. This chapter contains physical and emotional abuse, blood, rats and maggots, implied necrophillia, first stages of going insane, self inflicted head injuries, the scent of death, panic/anxiety attack, lack of eating, drinking, and more.

I am aware some parts, closer to the end seem more unrealistic to some, but others know that some people mask immediately after something happens, such as a panic attack. Most panic attacks are written from personal experience. If something seems unrealistic to you, that does not mean it is that way for everyone.

Angel groaned, sitting up. He grabbed his phone off the charger, taking a small breath when he saw the messages from both Velvet, and Valentino. He had to go to work today.

He stood up, stretching quietly. He picked nuggs up, putting food in his bowl. Angel smiled at the pig. The best thing that came out of Vals gifts.

Angel grabbed a change of clothes and went into the bathroom to change, putting makeup on as well. When he came out, Husker was still asleep, the blanket twisted around his waist.

Angel smiled, fixing his hair. He leaned over, kissing Husker's cheek. He turned away, grabbing a jacket and spraying perfume on.

Husker stirred, propping himself up. "tony?" "Yea?" Angel glanced over at him. "Where ya goin?" "I gotta go back ta work." Angel grumbled, fixing his hair again.

Husker frowned. "Do you have to?" He asked, his head tilted to the side. Angel sighed. "Vel said so."

Husker stood up, twisting to crack his back. Angel sighed, placing one of his hands on his hip. "I don't wanna but I still gotta."

Husker huffed, walking over to Angel. Angel opened his arms, Husker wrapping his arms around Angel's waist. "I'll be here when you get back."

Angel smiled sadly, messing with the fur on Husker's head. "I'll be okay, whiskers." "I know. I just.. I don't want ya to go. I'm sick of you bein hurt all the time."

Angel chewed on his lip, looking away. "I should get goin, I'm gonna be late.."

Husker pulled away, pinning his ears back. Angel leaned forward, kissing the tip of his nose. "I'll be back before ya know it. Let's go downstairs."

Husker nodded, following him downstairs. Cherri was on the couch, sitting with Frank. "
You his mom now or somethin?" Angel grinned.

Cherri glanced at him, shrugging. "He needs someone ta take care of him. Where you off to?" "Vel said I needta go back to work." Angel said, crossing his arms.

Cherri frowned. "Be as safe as you can. We're waitin' for you, Angie." Angel smiled softly, waving as he walked away.

Angel shoved his hands into his pockets, glaring at the sidewalk as he made his way to the studio. When he pushed the door open, it was eerily silent. It was dark, most of the lights shut off.

In the darkness, Angel could see broken glass, dirt, and plants littered around. Broken bottles and liquids littered the floor, and some lights flickered.

Angel took a deep breath, jumping when he saw Valentino's red eyes glowing in the corner. The moth remained silent, standing up. He made his way over to Angel, more of his face visible. Angel cowered, his hands trembling.

Valentino grabbed his face, inspecting him. He let go of the spider's face, looking at his claws. He squinted, slapping Angel with the back of his hand.

Angel winced, rubbing his cheek. "You ruined everything." Valentino spat. Angel watched Valentino walk around in the rubble. "You ruined velvet. You ruined my studio, you killed Vox. You fucked everything up." His voice was loud, deep, and thick.
