Valentino waited patiently for Angel to show up, sipping out of a mug. Velvet sat nearby, scrolling through her phone.

Normally quiet, she remained silent in the mornings. Since Vox was gone, she felt no need to communicate with Valentino.

Valentino glanced over to where Vox would usually sit, shaking his head. “Just stop. You looking at it isn't gonna bring him back.” Velvet spat, looking at Valentino with hurt eyes.

Val quickly looked away, sighing. “He'd be disgusted if he knew what you did.” She whispered. “I hate you.”

Valentino tightened his grip on his mug, sipping on his coffee again. Velvet stood, placing her cup in the sink.

She glanced around the room, chewing on her lip at the blue accents. She walked away, leaving Valentino alone.

Valentino put his heart shaped glasses on, standing up. He looked around the room, curling his wings around himself.

He walked around the dark room, memories bright in his mind as he ran his hand across the wall.

He gripped his mug, standing still. He could almost feel Vox's presence, his eyes dimming. Angel quietly opened the door, stepping inside.

Valentino whirled around, throwing the mug instinctively. Angel flinched, the mug narrowly avoiding him.

Valentino straightened himself, walking over to Angel. “Amorcito, I'm sorry. You caught me off guard, I didn't mean to hurt you.”

Angel watched Valentino clean up his own mess. It was odd to Angel, he was acting strange.

Valentino threw away the shards, coming back over to Angel to inspect him. “Are you hurt, baby?”

“I'm fine, Val.” Angel sighed, resting his hands on Vals wrists. Valentino sighed, letting him go. “You don't have much to record today, so I expect a good performance. It should be easy. Nothing you haven't done before.”

Angel nodded slowly, following Val to the studio. Pictures that hung on the walls were covered, and no TV was left in any of the rooms.

Angel glanced at Velvet, who was still nearby. She was grabbing fabric, trying to avoid Valentino.

Angel sighed softly, hugging himself. Valentino opened the door to the studio, placing a hand on the small of Angel's back.

“You don't have to record for a while. You can chill somewhere else if you'd like.” Valentino hummed, walking over by Travis.

Angel sat somewhere nearby, next to one of his co-workers. “You okay?” They asked, glancing at him. “He's acting weird. I'm nervous.”

The worker nodded, glancing at Valentino. “He's not in a good mood, is he?” “Mug to the face immediately.” Angel mumbled.

“He's on edge.” “Angel~” Valentino purred, tilting his head. Angel gave his friend a small wave, standing up.

“Yes, Val?” Angel asked quietly, standing next to the overlord. Valentino pulled Angel into his lap, wrapping a set of arms around him.

Angel rested his head on the overlord’s shoulder, absently watching the set before them.

Valentino cupped Angel's face, pulling him into a kiss. Angel rested his hand on Vals chest, closing his eyes.
