Paragon of Virtue

<General POV>

Ruby Rose was someone who wanted to be a Hero. A Huntress that protected people from the Grimm. A paragon of virtue.

Ruby Rose was also someone who was stuck in an interrogation room with the Headmaster of Beacon and a certain Goodwitch, for her reckless actions against a known criminal.

"Miss Rose. How would you feel about early graduation from Signal and directly joining Beacon?" Ozpin asked, seeing a shadow of Summer Rose in the youg girl before him.

"I would love that." Ruby Rose was excited. She was going to start at Beacon!

If this was how interrogations went, Ruby Rose now loves interrogations.

Ruby left the police station giddy with excitement. She passed by a groupof people handing out flyers and one stopped her.

"Hello!", a cheerful brunette with bunny ears stopped her.

Ruby let out a socially inept, "Meep!" before asking, "Are you talking to me?"

"Why of course! I just wanted to tell you about our group. We are spreading awareness amongst the masses about some important things!". The Faunus handed her a flyer, before moving out of her way.

Ruby looked at the flyer as she walked and sighed. It was just another flyer from the Vrangr. That was what everyone called them, the full name being "Du Vrangr Gata". The Awry Path in some old language.

They belived the Superiors were Gods, and should be worshipped. Or that the Apocalypse was coming. One of those two. They believed that anyone who didn't follow their belief, was on the wrong path.

Ruby couldn't be bothered with the insane cultists, and just threw away the flyer.

Every Kingdom had a branch of Du Vrangr Gata, each trying to convince people to worship their respective Superior.

The worst part was, it was working.

Their was already a church for The Curse, Mistral's Superior.

As Ruby was thinking about the past hours, a crash was heard and the wall beside her was blown open, a man flying out.

Ruby looked inside, and saw her sister, Semblance blazing.

"Yang?", she called out.

With all the grace of someone caught with their hand in the cookie jar, Yang replied sheepily, "Hey there, sis?"

<Ozpin, narratory POV>

Ruby Rose, Summer Rose's daughter.

Ordinarily, I would have had Qrow continue teaching her in Signal for the next two years, but Qrow's message changes things.

Salem was trying to approach the Superiors.

Till now, we were lucky that she had not managed to gain the aid of any of them, out of her own pride and ego.

But now, things had changed.

She had pieces moving in the dark, and Qrow had verified that the Church of The Curse was approached by some suspicious people, who the Grimm tried to hide from sight.

Thankfully, the meeting did not seem to go too well, as Qrow reported that all Grimm in the surroundings had suddenly exploded, and the suspicious people left covered in blood and lacking one person.

After The Curse was angered, Qrow was unfortunately forced to leave the kingdom of Vacuo as fast as possible, just in case The Curse went on a rampage.

With Salem working in the dark, I needed more options. I needed a team to act as my hands and legs, a 'Seed' like STRQ in the past.

Ruby Rose, the inheritor of the Silver Eyes.

Blake Belladonna, the daughter of the founders of White Fang.

Yang Xiao-Long, Raven's daughter.

Weiss Schnee, the Heiress of the Schnee Dust Company.

Pyrrha Nikos, the 'Invincible Girl' of Mistral, a direct 'friend' of the Mistralian Superior, the Swordswoman.

Jaune Arc, descendant of Arthur, wielder of Crocea Mors and the sole survivor of the Arc family after The Curse's rampage in Anima.

Although there were more, these individuals stood out the most.

Ozpin leaned back in his chair, sipping his coffee, his mind thinking of various possibilities of the future.

He looked towards a map on his table, looking at each kingdom, now marked with the symbol of their Superior than the previous flags.

'This round...

.

.

.

.

..will be the most tumultuous and chaotic of them all.'

A/N

Anybody catch the (very obvious) reference?

Chapter-ly Fun Fact: The Curse wasn't angered by Salem's pawns' proposition. He just refused for no reason, and blew up one of them because he felt like it.

Edit: I just realized, Jaune can't lose his family in the Bloody Year, coz he wouldn't even be born then💀.

After this remedy, I also got an idea for an interesting side plot to tortu- I mean, provide character development to some people.
