We all sat around the lunch table no one making a sound, the only thing we heard was the sounds of other people enjoying their lunch. I sat on the end next to Ben as his head laid down against the table, Aiden was playing with his food making what looked like a house, while everyone else ate except for Ashlyn.

My eyes drifted to the window as some students walked around and the wind rustle the leaves on the trees.

"I think we should go back to Savannah."

Tyler said as my eyes darted towards him, everyone stopped what they were doing looking at him in shock.

"I thought everyone agreed it was too dangerous...?"

Logan asked with a worried tone.

"So what? We're just supposed to let things stay like they are?"

Tyler remarked back as I hummed a bit in agreement, it was dangerous but I don't want to be stuck there for the rest of my life.

"I'd rather be semi-stuck than fully stuck."

Ashlyn said as she looked at the group.

"Well maybe if you would have told us the truth from the beginning, we wouldn't be stuck at all!"

Tyler yelled out looks at Ashlyn with a glare.

"I already explained why I didn't-"

she started to say but Aiden cut her off.

"Aren't you the one to talk. You're the one that brushed it off as a prank and walked off. If she had said anything, would you even have believed her? With your personality I seriously doubt it."

Tyler slammed his hands down on the table making everyone look at him.

"Whether I would have believed it or not she should have said something! Now we're stuck in demonic dimension, running away from flesh-eating deadly creatures, I've lost count how many near-death experiences I've had, none of us have slept in days, we can't tell our parents or any-"

He was cut off by Ben slamming his hands on the table startling everyone one, Ben brought his finger to his mouth and told him to be quiet.

"Tyler it's not her fault and you know-"

I started but he began to speak again.

"If we don't go back to Savannah where this cycle begun... then what else are we supposed to do?"

He sat back down as his body trembled, he was just as scared as the rest of us were.

-Two weeks ago-

I sat at my desk in my room with my headphones in as I finished up writing down the chords for a song I was learning on the piano, a light tap hit my shoulder as I jumped up. I took a headphone out and looked behind me to see my dad, I gave him a smile, he returned the gesture.

"You should start making your way to school, don't wanna be late on your first day."

I gave a nod to him while he left the room. I grabbed my bag and went downstairs.

"I'll see you later, I'll text you when I get home."

I gave him a hug, his arms wrapping around my shoulders.

"Bye Champ, be safe!"

I smiled back at his comment and made my way outside, the breeze was slow as it pushed past the different plants. My journey to school begun.

When I arrived at the school I looked up and saw the big doors welcoming students, I went inside looking at different signs trying to find classroom 201.

As I made my way through out the school I saw some people arguing in the hallway, a boy was holding another while a girl videoed them, rolling my eyes I walked past them continue my journey.

My attention was grabbed when a show came flying towards my direction, luckily I moved away in time to not get hit by the air strike, a red headed girl doing the same .

"Ah, sorry!"

A female voice rung from the group. I saw a random guy bump another guys shoulder who looked to be helping the guy holding the guy on his shoulder.

  "You wanna fight?"

The guy said as they started to fighting in the hall. Ignoring the fight, I went back to try and find my classroom. I saw a sign with '201' printed on it, I smiled a little in victory and walked into the room. Names were labeled on the desk, I walked around looking for my name till I spotted 'Y/n L/n' printed on a desk in the back of the room.

I sat down waiting for class to start but it hadn't yet, the teacher was late and 4 people were missing in the seats in front of me. Yelling was heard from down the hall making my head pop up and look at the door.

"We wouldn't be late if you would have helped instead of recording!"

A male voice yelled as two people ran into the classroom.

"Sorry we're late!"

"Please don't mark us tardy"

The two people said as they looked around.

"They aren't even heard yet."

The male said.

"We still have a chance."

The girl said with a sigh of relief. "

A chance? Are two of my students already late on the first day of school?"

An older voice came from behind them. The teacher appeared making them look back with worried faces.

"Just kidding! A class rule is if we're both late and you get here before me, you're safe-"

The  teacher said with a cherry attitude, but cut off at the end as he looked down at the boys foot.

"Where is your shoe?"

He asked the boy who looked at him with an ashamed look.

I remembered the incident from earlier today where the shoe went into a wall,

"You should find it after class."

"Yes sir"

the boy responded to him.

"Go ahead and find which desk has your name on it and take a seat."

He shooed of the kids as they found their seats. The boy and the girl sat in front of me, my eyes drifted back to the front of the classroom to see two students who I've never seen before.

"Sorry I'm late everyone."

The teacher started.

"These two are new to the school, so make sure to give them a warm welcome. You guys can take a seat as well."

The teacher pointed to each of their tables so they could make their way to their seats.

"Let's begin with introductions, shall we? We'll go in alphabetical order."

He said with a smile.
