I walked out of the bus looking around, the sky was red but everything else had a black look to it...almost like an alternate universe. I walked around more, trying to find anything that could give me an idea of what was going on.
Passing houses, going through the light shop and going back to where this all started, the Sorrel Weed house. I walked through the house looking at all the rooms we visited earlier except it was dark and they had a gruesome look.
I was back in the basement I got attacked in, everything was in the same place but it felt off, it felt like someone was watching. I heard a swoosh behind me making my whole body twist to see what made the noise but nothing was there.
Before I can comprehend my surroundings I was back on the bus, 'But I was just here, what happened?' My mind spun with questions wondering what this place was, it was like a never ending loop I can't get out of. I sat down on one of the bus seats and ran my hands over my face,
'I must be lucid dreaming there is no other explanation.'I pinched my arm trying to wake myself up from this horrible nightmare when I saw a black figure reach out to me from below the seat. It's smiling white teeth and eyes just like the ones from the Sorrel Weed house. I quickly jumped up but instead of staying on the bus I ended up back in my bed, I rubbed my head, sitting up straight, my breath filled with soft pants trying to regain my composure. I sighed, 'Must have just been a bad dream.'
I rubbed my face again trying to get the dream out of my head when a throbbing pain erupted through my thigh. I quickly pulled my blanket back to see a large, red, bloody gash from earlier today. I never got a good look at it when it happened earlier today because it went away just as fast as it showed up. 'I knew I felt something and wasn't going crazy.'
My head picked up from a noise at my door way making my eyes meet with the same white eyes and smile as the black figure from earlier. It lunged at me, my body falling out of the bed and onto the cold floor to avoid its attacks, I let out a slight groan rubbing my head again. A scream erupted through the room, 'It must be the other girls.' The scream made the figure thrash its arms around, trying to stand up again but the sheets tangled around it.
I stood up quickly, throwing the blanket over the figure to make struggle some more while I ran out of the room. I saw Taylor and Ashlyn running down the hallway,
"Guys what's going on?!"
I joined them running through the hall, the door flew open revealing Tyler.
"Taylor!"
He held out his arms going for a hug.
"Ty?!"
She yelled embracing him.
"Oh so it was them. Why are they running?"
Aiden held his hands on his hips staring into the room.
"What's going on?!"
Tyler yelled holding his sister to his chest. The throbbing pain in my leg returned, I looked down to see the cut dripping blood down to my feet and onto the floor. My finger lightly touched it making a sting erupt through the area, 'Yep, definitely real.'
"Something's in the-"
Ashlyn started to say but suddenly turned around quickly, I copied her action to be met with the black figure, its claws curled around the corner of the wall.
"Go-"
Ashlyn started to say as it lunged out at us.
"Go go go!"
She screamed as we ran out the door trying to not get met with its black claws, before it could get to us Aiden and Ben slammed the door shut in its face, its nails scratching at the surface.
"What is this thing?"
Logan brought his hands up to his chest stepping back, his body shaking with fear.
"According to Tyler, that would be the 'prank' from earlier today."
Aiden smirked with a light laugh causing Tyler to glare at him.
"Ah! Emma is still in there!"
Taylor said going to open the door, but I quickly stopped her.
"I don't think she would be in there. She would've woken up from the scream and commotion. I don't think I saw her on the couch when we left."
I put my hand on her shoulder trying to reinsure her our friend would be alright.
"Now that y/n mentions it, it's kinda weird that no one at all has come outside after all the screaming and banging."
Aiden tilted his head to the side. The door handle started to move and slowly open, but before the figure could come out I quickly grabbed the handle pulling the door shut. The group let out a sigh thankful that the thing didn't get to us.
"That could've bad haha."
Aiden laughed looking at the door.
"Could've?!"
Tyler yelled at him.
"Stop taking this as a joke! It's been bad! The sky is red for crying out loud!"
All of us looked at the sky to see the moon black and the sky red like blood.
"Well whining about it isn't going to do anything."
Aiden argued back to him.
"And laughing about it is?!"
"Can you guys please stop arguing for once?!"
I yelled, causing boys to shut their mouths.
"Guys...look down..."
Taylor said making us shift our gazes to the ground, black figures stood everywhere, all staring up at us with their creepy smiles. The whole group looked down in terror, before we were able to say anything they started to charge towards the stairs that intersected the hallway.
"How far away is your room?"
Ashlyn asked Aiden.
"About 5 or 6 doors down."
He pointed to his rooms door. Ashlyn stood there silently looking around, she was coming up with an idea for us to get out of this situation.
"Aiden, give me the string from your shorts."
She said tying the string from her own off.
"Kay? Why?"
He asked looking at her dumb founded.
"I have an idea."
