Leaves rushed past me, my legs moved as fast as they could. The sound of heavy foot prints and heavy breathing was heard, a red hue was lighting up your path thanks to the sky.

"Time?"

The red headed girl, Ashlyn, yelled back as her breath staggered from exhaustion.

"8 minutes!"

Logan, a boy with glasses, announced to the group struggling to keep up with us. Everyone kept up their pace as the black figure chasing them got closer. My arms pumped as fast as they could, my hand gripped the axe that rested against my shoulder getting ready to use it if I needed to.

"The Graveyard!"

Somebody yelled making my head perched up as I saw the big, sturdy grey walls in the distance. My legs ached as I finished the final stretch, so close to being safe and secure behind the big structured walls. The group ran in slowly down once they passed the open door, I slowed down and swung around to the red button next to the door.

"Close the gate, close the gate!"

A boy with chocolate hair, Tyler, yelled. My hand slammed against the button, I stumbled back to the group, glowing white eyes and a smile peaking through the door at us while the phantom got closer and closer.

Its hand reached out to grab us, but the gate slammed in its face, stopping it from entering . Sighs of relief were shared amongst the group,  everyone relaxed and slummed down to try and catch their breath.

I dropped my axe to the ground making a clink fill the graveyard, my hands went to my knees gripping them while I took deep breaths trying to regain my strength.

"Alright let's head to the bus."

Ashlyn sat up and pushed her hair out of her face. We all followed her closely to one of the abandoned yellow vehicles, everyone scattered around finding seats near the back making a sigh of relief once they could finally rest.

My back hit the seat making me slump down against the cold material, I sat behind Tyler and Taylor, his sister.

"Ugh, that sucked!"

Tyler groaned, his head hitting the back of his seat to rest.

"I couldn't agree with you anymore."

I responded stretching my head left, right, up and down to try to make my sore muscles feel relief.

The whole group was stretching their limbs, Ashlyn was massaging her feet. Everyone was quiet, the only sounds were the ones of people letting out groans from the pain they endured.

"Ah, the banging stopped"

Ashlyn looking towards the wall, no phantom could be seen.

"It's probably gave up or-"

Tyler paused, mumbling the last part.

"-someth..."

He went silent, alerting me so I sat up and looked to wear his eyes drifted. There it was, a black hand holding the door opening of the bus. A pair of white eyes and the same smile glaring back at us. We all froze in fear as it started to enter the bus.

The group scattered to the back of the bus trying to get far away.

"How?!"

I whispered yell in frustration standing in front of Logan.

'How could it have got in?! We closed the gate on time!'

Thoughts filled my brain, it slowly crept forwards passing the box of weapons none of us were able to grab. Me and Ashlyn stood in front of the group while it slowly made its way towards us.
