The next day Sam let herself sleep as late as she could, she figured she didn't have anything to do so she might as well sleep the day away. Sam basically spent her whole day in her apartment, sleeping most of the time but when she wasn't she was ether eating or in her own little world. She figured that her depression was triggered or just kicked in from the way she felt and the way her actions were played out. Sam basically moped around, on the days she had to go to school she still went but she mainly focused on the teacher no one around her.

A week pasted by untill she even talked to Leo but he still popped up somewhere. Until one day he texted her asking if he could come over so she said yes and told him the door was unlocked. When he got over he noticed she hadn't been taking care if herself so he got her up, took her to the bathroom helping her bathe herself, and then helped her change. "Thanks" Sam said softly. "Your welcome" Leo said looking at her with concern in his eyes. He walked her to the couch then went to the kitchen to fix her something to eat.

As he brought her a bowl he couldn't help but smile. When she looked in the bowl she looked at Leo and asked "Mashpotatoes?". "Yeah, they always make me feel better so I figured they would make you smile too" Leo said happily. She couldn't help but crave some after she smelt it, so she put a spoonful in her mouth with satisfaction. They didn't talk much while she ate but once she was done they both laid on the couch together watching cartoons. He noticed some scars on her wrists, so he started to rub his fingers over them.

"Are these...fresh?" he awkwardly asked her. "No, those are from a long time ago but then again not really that long ago. Basically not recently" Sam told Leo trying to avoid his eyes. The only thing Leo did was pick her arm up, put her wrist near his face, and gently kiss her scars. Her face became flushed when he looked at her. "What?" Leo asked as he stared at her. "No one has done that but now you have" Sam said as she laid her head down. "Well I'm honored too" Leo said as he wrapped his arm around her.

She steadied her eyes on the TV but couldn't help but feel at peace with a stomach full, warm, and in secure arms, because Sam knows that this person wasn't gonna abandon her or at least she hoped. The most she could do was drift off to sleep and wake to the same person not an empty apartment like last time.
