[9] Hanging Out

When Sam woke up it was in the middle of the night and she was in her bed, so she guessed Leo had carried her to her bed because he was laying right next to her. So she wrapped her arms around him and listened to his heart beat till she fell back asleep.

When she woke up she saw Leo looking at her. "What?" she asked him giggling. "Oh nothing" Leo said as he chuckled getting out of bed. "I'll make us some eggs" Sam told Leo after she kissed him on the cheek. She fixed them some eggs then sat with him on the couch. "So I know you said something about wanting a tattoo" Leo told Sam. "Yeah what about it?" Sam asked Leo excitedly. "Well I was thinking today we can go get it. I'm paying for it of course" Leo looked at her smiling. "Yay" Sam yelled happily. "Thank you thank you thank you!!" Sam said as she hugged him.

Sam and Leo walked to her car and drove to the tattoo shop. When they walked in she didn't even need to look at the examples on the wall because she knew what she wanted. "Are you nervous" Leo asked. "Ehhhhh kinda haha" Sam replied. "It doesn't hurt that much" Leo said right as Sam got called back to get her tattoo. As Sam and Leo were walking back she grabbed his hand but all he did was look at her and smile.

When the guy asked what she wanted, Sam told him that she wanted a dream catcher on the side of her stomach starting from bottom of her ribs going down stoping at her hip or upper thigh. While she was getting worked in she was in pain but when she looked at Leo she forgot about it. It seemed like hours before her tattoo was finally finished but she was happy to leave. When she stood up and looked at it in the mirror she fell in love. Leo had to drive them home because of Sam's tattoo.

When they got to her apartment she texted Harley telling her about her tattoo and how she might be not going to school for a little bit. Sam just hopes Harley would help her catch up on everything. Leo and Sam played on the Xbox for a little bit and helped Sam apply ointment to her tattoo so she wouldn't flinch as much. Leo ordered them Chinese food so they wouldn't have to leave the apartment plus it was Sam's favorite kind of food. By the end of the day she found it hard for get comfortable to fall asleep but once Leo was comfortable he helped her get comfortable too. "Good night" Leo told Sam. "Nighty night" Sam told Leo. Before she fell asleep she couldn't help but think how today was a great day. She got her dream tattoo, she got to hang out with Leo all day, and she finally was out of her depression. When her mind cleared she felt at peace and drifted to sleep in the arms of Leo.
