[24] I Dare You

When Sam woke up the next morning she saw that her phone had two text messages from Matthew.

"   Hey I want you to do two things for me. 1. Text me when you read or get this message. 2. Tell me when you are done getting ready. Once you have done those two things then i will tell you some next steps."

All Sam did was giggle and then text him telling him that she had just woke up and was getting ready. He just simply replied with a smiley face. Sam honestly had no idea what he had planned for him and or or even just her, but she was excited. She took a quick shower then went to get dressed. After what seemed like an hour Sam finally decided what she was gonna wear. She picked a black t-shirt that had a Sally from Nightmare Before Christmas movie on it to wear with some skinny jeans that had holes on the knees and black Vans. Sam did her regular make up and texted Matthew saying she was done getting ready and was headed out the door.

When she got to her car Matthew had texted back.
"Sam, Meet me at the mall at the food court. I really hope you enjoy today."
Sam just smiled and drove to the mall. She sat at the food court for what seemed like hours, but she finally saw Matthew and smiled. "Are you ready?" Matthew asked Sam smiling.
"Yes, I guess haha as ready as I'll ever be" Sam said smiling.
"Ok" Matthew said smiling and handing Sam a piece of paper.
Sam took the paper and unfolded it to see a map of the mall with stars in certain stores on the map. When Sam looked up Matthew was gone. She looked around, but couldn't see him anywhere. In the bottom right corner of the map was written "I dare you to find me along with all the items. Hints the stars ;) Good luck...."

Sam noticed that one of the stars was at Hot Topic so she decided that she would save that for last considering she would want to shop in there. So Sam looked at the map for a little bit before she decided to head to the first star that was located in Bed Bath and Body Works. So she walked in and started looking around, but she noticed one of the workers holding something. Sam just casually made her way over to the worker and asked what she was holding and the worker just looked at her. "Oh are you Sam?" she asked. "Yes?" Sam replied questionably. "I'm suppose to give you this" she said with a smile as she handed Sam a piece of paper. "Thanks" Sam said as she walked away. She was about to leave the store when she turned around and went to the counter to grab the bottle of Jingle all the Way perfume. She noticed the worker was watching and she bagged it up for her then let Sam leave.
Sam made her way from store to store grabbing items, performing silly dares, and getting new pieces of paper till she finally arrived at Hot Topic. As she walked in she saw Matthew holding a piece of paper.
"You finally made it" Matthew said smiling. He gave her the piece of paper and told her to put all of them together on the floor. Each piece of paper had letters and then an arrow pointing when Sam stepped back and read it it said " I DARE YOU ======> "
Sam read it out loud then looked at Matthew who said "To be my girlfriend". All Sam could do was smile and said yes as she walked up and hugged him.
"Wait does that mean that all those things are gifts?" Sam asked Matthew.
"Yes, and you get to shop here too I know how much you like this store" all Sam could do was smile and hug him as she told him thank you. They spent about two hours in the store and Matthew got Sam a few shirts and a beanie or two. Once they were about to leave the mall Sam told Matthew to go to her apartment and so he told her he would.

The rest of that evening they spent it watching movies, cuddled, and eating Chinese food. When Sam was walking up to her apartment hand in hand with Matthew she noticed someone was watching them. As she looked around she noticed that it was Leo looking threw the window watching them and all Sam could do was look away. She didn't care if it hurt Leo cause she felt like he deserved it, but it still hurt a little and she had to cast those feelings a side because she had Matthew and that's all she wanted. As they watched movies all Sam could think was how lucky she was. She finally got the guy she had wanted and this time she wasn't gonna let him slip through her hands she was gonna hold on and hold on for good.

Sam must have fallen asleep because she woke up in the middle of the night and was in her bed, but there was no sign of Matthew. She looked for her phone, but noticed it wasn't by her. All she did was lay back down because she was so tired. She figured nothing had happened to Matthew he probably went home considering they did have class tomorrow. Sam just Kaye's there and smiled cause today was a great day, and Sam couldn't stop thinking of how perfect it was. Matthew was truly her dream guy and she couldn't get over the fact that she actually found him. Everything about him was perfect from the way he acted, to the way he treated her, and even his appearance even though looks weren't everything to Sam. After a while Sam fell back asleep, but she fell asleep with a smile on her face and with a warm fuzzy feeling inside. Because today Sam had gotten what she wanted for a long time and she was happy she finally got it well not it she finally found and got him.
