[15] Chill Time

When they got to Leo's apartment he opened the door for her and followed behind. "Well what do you wanna do Sammy?" Leo asked. "I don't really know" Sam said as she tried wiping her makeup off with her hands. "You know what I'm gonna take a trip to Walmart ok? I'll be back in a little bit I won't be long I promise" Leo said as he kissed Sam's cheek. "Ok" Sam said trying to hide being hurt. She couldn't help it she had just basically broke the friendship between her and the person who truly knew her, all she wanted was comfort but she didn't want to get in the way of Leo either. As Leo left, Sam took her shoes off and sat on the couch.

She just sat there but ended up getting cold so she walked to Leo's room and got a shirt from his dresser and put it on she felt much warmer, plus she loved the way he smelt so it was a good deal all together. She ended up back on the couch but fell asleep when she woke up she saw two crystal blue eyes staring into hers. "Is that my shirt?" Leo asked setting down grocery bags. "Ummmmm yes I got cold I hope you don't mind" Sam said turning away from him. "I don't mind at all, in fact it looks cute on you" Leo said as he came up from behind her and wrapped his arms around her. "Why thank you" Sam said giggling. She broke free from his arms but still held his hand walking to where Leo had set the grocery bags. She was about to look in them when Leo stopped her. "Woe woe woe slow down there mate" Leo said smiling. Sam just sighed and smiled, he was just so charming it was hard not to smile.

Leo let go of her hand and started to look threw bags and then looked up. "Ok so I got you make up remover pads to take off all the makeup that is smudged all over your face even though you still look cute" Leo said as he winked and handed her the pouch. Sam took the pouch but just stared at it. "I also got you some new makeup along with this monster and a movie or movies we can watch today" Leo said smiling. "You didn't have to do all this.....I think it's to much. Like the movies are great but makeup remover pads along with the make up was something you didn't need to do" Sam said looking in the bag. "No, right now you need to be treated like a lady and comforted, Sampson I'm here for you no matter what because I deeply care for you" Leo said picking Sam's chin up and looking in her eyes.

Sam couldn't help but get butterflies in her stomach especially when he looked at her with comfort in his eyes. All she could do was blush but she pulled away and said "well I need to go take the makeup off" as she headed to the bathroom. For the rest of the day all her and Leo did was lay around and watch horror movies. The only thing was time seemed as if it hadn't passed because the day went by so fast. They had drank monsters and hang out which was good therapy for Sam she really needed it. Leo just seemed to comfort her every need wether it was a hug, kiss on the nose, or even just cuddling he was there. Sam didn't want the day to end but when it seemed like it had to Sam just pushed the thought aside. Leaving would have been harder just because she was so comfortable and relaxed.

She was so at ease that she fell asleep but this time she wasn't afraid to because she felt safe especially with Leo there. Because with him by her side, she felt like she could conquer the world, little by little and day by day. Sam wasn't sure what was happening wether if she was slowly falling in love with him or if she just really liked having him around but ether way Sam didn't want to lose Leo. Especially the way she lost Grayson but then again all she could think about was maybe it's good that her and Grayson weren't friends anymore but at the same time it tore her apart. She just didn't know what to think anymore all she knew was what surrounded her at the moment. Which was an amazing guy who she felt like she could trust and that would never leave her. Sam couldn't ask for anything better because when she was ready to give up Leo was there to catch her and that made her so happy.
