As the siren blared yet again, signaling the start of a new week in the game, a wave of anticipation washed over the cafeteria. Students swiftly pulled out their phones, their fingers hovering over the voting options. With a determined nod exchanged between my friends and me, we signaled to vote for each other, united against the manipulations of the game.

After the frantic voting, we paused, holding our breath as the results were revealed. Gasps escaped our lips as we realized that Wonhee, once again, held the top spot. Confusion swirled within us. Had the other students lost interest in our plight, overlooking our efforts to overthrow the game? It felt as though the odds were stacked against us, no matter what we did.

Hours later, as we sat together in the gym, processing our defeat, Wonhee appeared before us. Her unsettling smile curled at the corners of her lips, her eyes gleaming with a sadistic delight. Mocking concern laced her voice as she taunted us, her words dripping with sarcasm.

"Oh? Why are you guys sad?" she sneered, her laughter echoing through the room like a chilling melody. It was clear that she relished our anguish, taking pleasure in our despair. The maniacal nature of her laughter sent a shiver down my spine, but I refused to let fear consume me.

Before we could respond, Wonhee leaned in closer, invading our personal space. The sinister intent in her eyes was impossible to ignore. With a tone that sent chills down my spine, she issued a chilling warning.

"You think you can escape? You think you can defy the game?" she hissed, her voice laced with a sadistic edge. "You're mistaken. The puppeteers are always one step ahead. Watch your backs, because they won't let you escape their clutches."

Her words hung in the air, leaving an eerie silence in their wake. The weight of her warning bore down upon us, intensifying the gravity of the situation we found ourselves in. But rather than succumbing to fear, we let her words ignite a renewed fire within us. Wonhee's taunts only fueled our determination to expose the puppeteers and break free from their web of manipulation.

As she turned to walk away, that unsettling smile still etched upon her face, we exchanged resolute glances. We reaffirmed our commitment to each other and to the truth. Wonhee's warning, though bone-chilling, wouldn't deter us from our fight.
