! TW: violence, intimacy !

Walden stood in Frank's office, cold to the bone as he looked down at Julie and [Name] wrapped together in tight hug on the ground. Frank stood beside him, dropping their coffee mugs as the boiling coffee spilled on the ground.

Walden honestly couldn't tell if this was Julie or Julianne. Either way, he was fuming to a point that his breathing was ragged. He felt sickened as he turned around and dug his nails into the desk beside him.

Frank walked towards him with concern for his desk more than for him. "Walden, you need to pull yourself together." He leaned over beside him, their gazes meeting as Walden's eyes flickered in anguish.

Furious, he turned around and threw open the door. He stormed down the stairs to the ground floor only to see the two women gone.

Though [Name] was horrified by the fact that Walden had seen them, she was still tangled together with Julianne in a mix of loving kisses and warm embraces. "Julie.." She panted softly as she felt her lips travel up her neck.

"Mm?" She gave a brief response that made her heart race. "Walden...he saw us.." Their breaths wrapped around one another as Julianne brought her head to [Name]'s. She looked down at her with that same terrifying gaze.

"That ceases to matter to me, bunny.." Her head leaned on [Name]'s shoulder as she breathed in her scent. Her hand stroked her back in soothing motions, holding herself back from becoming rougher.

"Tell me why you're doing this.." [Name] whispered as her hands smoothed through Julianne's hair. "Because I want you. Isn't that obvious?" Her heavy breathing sent shivers down her spine. She let out a heavy sigh when she heard her words.

'I want you.'

But she knew it wasn't reality. She couldn't trust herself, she couldn't trust her wandering heart after what had happened at the opera house. She pulled away from Julianne's loving embrace and looked up at her in sorrow.

"Last week...you told me our friendship was a mistake. That you regretted meeting me." She did her best to speak clearly despite the fact that her mind was still a blur by such lustful touches.

Julianne's shoulders dropped as she brought [Name]'s face into her hand. "My only mistake was turning away from you."

[Name] wanted to believe her. But the difference in her voice, the way she spoke, her words, she couldn't bring herself to believing her. "Prove it to me. Let me know you care." She furrowed her eyebrows and looked intently at the woman standing before her.

Julianne flashed a smirk. "With pleasure." Her dark eyes narrowed before she leaned into [Name]'s neck and sank her teeth into her flesh.

[Name] sat at her workbench, still rubbing the painful bite mark on her neck. No way this was the love that Julie had for her. She knew the difference between her soft and tender words compared to her roughness.

Her throat still hurt from her shrill screams of pain. She could still feel the blood that ran down her chest.

She was more of a vampire than a lover. The bloodlust she had proven to have...she had mistaken it for love. She had mistaken it for care. When in all reality, it was hunger. A hunger that left [Name] emptier than she was after the opera house.
