When Julie got home to her parent's house that night, it was empty. Julie knew exactly why. This was not reality. This was an illusion.
"Come out, Julianne. I know you're here." She looked around for any signs of Julianne, but there were so many signs all around her that it was difficult to pinpoint where she was. The rainbow flowers stared at her, rattling their ungodly rattles.
"I said come out. I'm not scared of you anymore. Show yourself."
She knew she was lying through her teeth. She was scared beyond belief about the confrontation there was going to be. But for once in her life, Julie had to stop pushing everything into the deepest part of her mind.
Because sooner or later, like a stuffed closet, it would all pour out of her mind and mouth.
Through the dark abyss, hiding in the cape of stars and moonlight, an uproar of birds squeaking and trees shifting was heard.
Julie looked up at the colossal woman, only able to see the flower in the center of her face.
Like Medusa, Julie froze at the way the gigantic demoness approached her. She picked Julie up like she was featherlight. From under the flower, she saw the rows and rows of teeth that lined the back of the petals that acted as Julianne's deformed mouth.
"Go on, speak. I know you've been itching too." Her smiling facade didn't fall. Julie would stand her ground because she knew Julianne, no, this entity only did this to scare her.
She danced with the devil and she couldn't keep up. Now she'd end this dance.
Because Julie was no longer the only one being affected. It all came together more and more.
The reason she pushed her to be with [Name]. Why does she inhabit her body and kiss [Name]? Like she had been doing forever, was she using Julie as her pawn to do what she did best?
Use people's weaknesses against them to devour their souls.
And if Julie didn't act quickly, the entity would feast on [Name] next.
"I want you out of my body." She held her chin up, keeping her gaze on the entity's eyes as they bore into her.
Though the demoness had no proper mouth to smile with, Julie could tell that she dropped her smooth and carefree facade. For the first time, Julianne had no quick comeback.
"You truly think kicking me out will help you any?" Her voice was not lulling or smooth. It was deadpan and cold. Julie stood her ground, fists balled, and nodded. "Yes. If I kick you out, you have no way to bounce to the next soul."
Julianne's expression gave nothing away. "How do you think I came across you in the first place? I only need your soul to disguise myself and not draw attention." Her voice was laced with warning.
Julie bit her lip, distress coursing in her veins. "...Then take my soul. Keep it. Let my soul be the last one you consume." Hearing her own words made the hairs on her neck stick up. "I'm tired of being a game piece. I want to be the final goal."
Julianne only hummed and tapped her sharp nails on her chin. "Why would I do that?"
"I'll give you whatever you want, I'll do whatever you want, I'll be whatever you want as long as you want me." She dropped to her dirty knees and extended her hands, crying for a false God's attention.
