In the past, Moontown could be seen as a ghost town as soon as night fell, but with the threat of another serial killer running free, people had no other choice but to protect themselves. Just yesterday, different news networks, TV scouts, and vloggers flocked to the town to get even a glimpse of the Angels of Moontown, and all noticed how people came together for a common goal. When the sun greeted the morning sky, the mayor and the town's Sheriff prepared for the program to deputize some citizens.
Amidst the business, the Psychological and Behavioral Analysis Department began its investigation. They've talked to people and gathered witnesses and evidence until they finally figured out a pattern. All that was missing was the face and the name of the psychopath who had killed two dozen people. The PBAD team split and drove around town to understand its people, hoping to get perspective behind the serial killer's actions.
"Jeffrey, look at them." Theo pointed at the teenagers sitting in front of the newly reopened dinner.
"They looked determined to protect their people and their homes. You know what? That is one of the reasons why I am proud to be a Stockholmer. We are fierce in protecting our own, and we are loyal." Jeffrey proudly responded.
"Right, I almost forgot you're from the south. What does it feel to grow up surrounded by snow?"
"Gloomy, sometimes, but we Southerners have a way to enjoy. Our weather and nature help us to be strong and disciplined. It's why I topped the RBI application and training."
"Dude, you're not human. You're a monster."
"Nope. I'm a wolf, rich boy."

Moontown School and Moontown High turned into a military zone when newly deputized officers arrived armed with guns to man the vast property. After the profilers gave the killer's profile, the full force of the Sheriff's department spread across town to protect its people. The Citizen Patrol doubled their efforts and focused on public places. Revenge. Those profilers said it was the primary motivation of the town's newest serial killer.
Five focal points in town, the north, the south, the east, the west, and the town proper, are divided into the group's five members. Pablo took the north with his cousins and searched every inch of the forest. Ken took the south with some of his Father's men, who agreed to help protect the town. They were all armed with the best weapons and equipment a hunter could have. Justin took the west alone and used his power to control the wind to guard the western side of the town. Vester, who lived on the town's eastern side, remained home and controlled water to search.
"Why did you choose to stay here with me?" Josh asked Maya while they drank their hot coffee at the Main Line Cafe.
"I want to keep an eye on you," Maya replied coldly.
"You know your gun won't work on me, right? You need an army to catch a true vampire."
"Don't be arrogant. I've caught more vampires than you think." It was the first time that the two had talked since Maya was replaced from the pageant. When she saw Josh smirking, she realized something. "You saved my brother, didn't you? When those vampires abducted him, it was you."
"It took you that long to figure that out? Unbelievable—shit! What was that for?" Josh angrily whispered when he felt the bullet pierced his body. Maya casually shot him.
"Stop mocking me." There was a warning in Maya's voice.
"Damn! Ken was right. You have the worst temper."
"What did you do to my brother? He would never agree to be friends with a bloodsucking monster like you voluntarily. Did you compel him?" She accused Josh.
