We have a big science test this week to determine our set next year. Eeeeeeekkkkkkk. Some stupid boy put a downer on me today with a bad comment, but with some good advice I've realised he's just a big jerk. So now to award myself I decided to upload early. This chapter is dedicated to my amazing cousin Emma Johnston, who is now a fully qualified doctor!!! Congratulations and good luck for the future!

-Some Things Are Best Left Unanswered-

I was sitting in science when something strange happened. I was twiddling my pen in between my fingers staring out the window only faintly listening to the lecture about photosynthesis. I was trying to stop thinking about what I had told Damon, or how he would act the next time I saw him. Well in truth I was trying to stop thinking about him altogether. Especially the kiss. Not that it wasn't pleasant to relive, but it didn't improve life.

"Ow!" I yelped. I felt a sharp piercing pain on my hand. I had clenched my fist so hard my long nails had made the palm of my hand bleed. Many eyes were staring at me including the anxious gazes of my friends.

I held up my hand to show everyone. "Just got a bit clumsy-" I commented out loud. But I didn't have time to finish what I was saying because Ash had jumped for Fray who was absentmindedly looking at my hand. As he prepared to lunge licking his lips Ash thumped him into the wall. He was strong because it hurt Fray judging by the yelp of pain, and Fray was tough. But it wasn't the end; Fray was tearing at Ash with his hands trying to break free.

Everyone in the class, but me looked horrified and a couple of people looked a bit like Fray had. "What is going on?" Professor Stuarts asked breaking away from the lecture. He took one look at my hand and grabbed my wrist to inspect it. I saw something flash across his eyes, but he blinked once or twice and it was gone.

"Millie please take Jinx to go and get cleaned up in the nurse's office" he said faintly walking off to go and control Fray. Millie quickly appeared by my side and tugged me along to outside of the classroom.

"Mills seriously I don't need to go, I've barely got any cuts" I remarked realising how much trouble I had caused not quite understanding how. Millie looked down at my hand.

"There's still blood, it could get infected" she said. I didn't really think there was that much blood and the cut was barely anything. "Why did Fray act like that?" I asked curiously, "I mean it was a bit of blood, he lunged for me" I added.

Millie stopped dead in her tracks. "Some things are just best left unanswered" she replied.

My suspicions became bigger that day as everywhere I looked it was as if the town seemed to be watching me. I yelped as in the middle of my staring I felt someone turn me around by the shoulder. I looked up to see a cocky grin on stupid Damon's face.

"Boo" he said of course too late to have any effect. I shrugged it off.

"Is it now your mission to annoy me?" I asked him trying to control my heartbeat. He smirked his signature smirk.

"Could be, but you seem a bit like you can't get any more annoyed" he chuckled. I narrowed my eyes at him fiercely. "You ought to see me when I get annoyed" I hissed dangerously.

"Yeah I'm quacking in me boots" he said in sarcasm putting on a Scottish accent which he was surprisingly good at. I had to force a fit of laughter away and keep my cool gaze. I succeeded only slightly.

"So why are you really here?" I asked a little warmer than previously.

"What? Can I not just casually hang out with you?" he asked innocently draping an arm around my shoulders. I slapped him away in the middle of the act.
