Sorry for the wait, this was really hard to write. The song on the side is 'Blame it on the alcohol-by Jamie Foxx'

This is absolutely ridiculous. Ridiculous. How can you down that many shots in such a short time? You’d think keeling over onto the floor and being sick everywhere would teach these people a lesson, but give them five minutes and they’re at the bar again.
My coke was quite satisfying, and it wasn’t going to give me alcohol poisoning or a really bad hangover. It would even make me hyper. So I don’t need alcohol, and it would be illegal so I’m not going to break the law to add to my problems.
“Commeeoonn sweeetartt haveadannnce” some boy slurred tugging at the bottom of my dress. I couldn’t help but grin, so I removed his hand gently.
“No thanks” I rejected his proposal. He laughed and then moved onto the person beside me. It had been like this all night. Someone had started stripping at the bar and fallen off in the middle. Someone asked me to marry them. I knew it was going to be like this all night, but I was actually enjoying myself.
“He’s right you know” Millie appeared from beside me suddenly.
“About what?”
“You should dance” she giggled.
“No way I’m not dancing”
“Come one I’ve heard you’re a great dancer” she pleaded.
I raised my eyebrows, “From who?” I questioned. Millie giggled shyly.
“Oh besides the point come on and dance!” she yelled on snaked her hand around my arm so I didn’t have any more time to argue. The heels I was in shuffled their way across the woodwork and made an annoying squeaky noise as they went.
My body felt hot. I didn’t know if it was nerves or the temperature of the room. I could feel heat radiating off my skin. The only thing that kept me fresh was plenty of deodorant. The atmosphere was steamy and sweaty. Like a huge congregation in a club, just one room packed with so many bodies.
I was surprised there was room to dance at all. But I did anyway. I tried to mirror what everyone else was doing. I managed to do it quite well if I must say so myself. I had dancing lessons when I was a little kid and continued to do dance throughout school life; I even took it for GCSE’s.
After what felt like ten minutes of dance I was pulled away by Millie who quickly led me to a group of people I recognized from school. Three of them boys Ash had introduced me to; I could remember them as Oliver, Doug and Lee. Ash himself. Ryan I had already seen once today on the dance floor and another girl I didn’t recognize.
“Hi guys, you remember Jinx?” Ash asked the others.
“Of course how could I forget?” Ryan smirked shaking my hand respectfully. For some strange reason Ash narrowed his eyes at Ryan and tried to discreetly kick his ankle. I pretended not to notice.
Oliver and Lee had a bottle of vodka in their hands. I began to wonder what it would taste like. I’d only ever had a drink at weddings. I must have been staring harshly because Lee seemed to notice.
“Want some?” he asked thoughtfully. And there was the dilemma; it couldn’t hurt for a little sip could it?
“Yeah sure” I replied happily reaching out to take a swig. Ash stopped my hand mid way.
