-Watch your back-

****Recap****

All I knew was there was something not right about this town. Something was wrong. Something was different.

Suddenly there was the sound of a huge smash behind me and I crouched down to cover myself from spraying glass. I heard screaming, but didn't dare to look up. My heart raced. What was happening?

"Everybody stay down and do what we tell you, unless you wanna get hurt!" a male voice yelled.

I didn't look up for a long time. I was in too much horror and shock. When I did look up I regretted it enormously. Two men were holding huge guns, pointing them at everything that moved. I gasped. One of the males walked over to the shop keeper and grabbed him by the shirt. The poor man coughed at the sudden moment. I had to fight the urge to help him.

"You open the till" he said jerking his gun in the direction of the cash register. The old man's eyes followed the gun and he slowly nodded fumbling for something in his pocket.

I looked around the shop. I was in deep dark trouble. Damon was gone. The only people in here were over thirty and there were only about four. Not including the little boy. Oh my god the little boy.

Looking over the poor thing was huddled under the shelves curled up in a ball gently rocking himself. The old man opened the till.

"Where is it!" the man holding him at gunpoint yelled. The shop keeper panicked.

"I don't know, I'm only watching the shop I don't know-"he stuttered, but he never had time to finish. And there was nothing I could do to stop him either. There was a loud gunshot and I saw his limp body fall to the floor. I tried to call out, but my mouth wouldn't form words.

"Bullshit!" his attacker exclaimed acting like he hadn't even touched the guy.

"Larry we can't kill him, we're already in enough trouble as it is" a panicked voice came from the other male holding a gun. The attacker or Larry thought to himself for a minute. "You're right" he said. Then he turned on me.

"You girl. Help him" he ordered.

"Me?" I croaked.

"Yes you" he rolled his eyes. I didn't know what to do. I had no idea how to save a person. But if I refused not only would I die so would the shop keeper. I shuffled over aimlessly and inspected the wound. It wasn't that bad until I touched it.

I felt a wet substance under my fingers and the harsh jagged edges where the skin had split. I couldn't scream. I just couldn't. This guy needs you; you can't give up because it freaks you out.

I took off my jacket and pressed it gently onto the wound. "We have to get him to a hospital" I unknowingly said aloud. Two pairs of fierce eyes burnt into me.

"Yeah well we're not going anywhere" Larry said the glass crunching under his feet as he walked.

"He's going to die" I whispered. And the other who had seemed just a little more innocent, but not able to speak look concerned. I continued.
