Chapter 26: Sir Human

Once reaching the bottom of the stairs, Y/n saw Dr. Alphys at her computer, looking at something on the screen, her face still a little red.

Y/n decided to walk over to her and awkwardly waved as he said,

Y/n: "H-hey Alphys, about what you saw upstairs-"

Alphys: "I-I don't need an explanation, Y/n. Y-you are a h-human after all. You have h-hormones and it's to be expected."

After saying that, she didn't say anything more, creating a long awkward pause between them as she started to sweat.

Alphys then looked away from him for a while before looking back and saying,

Alphys: "Y-y/n, I'm glad you're awake. A-are you hurt? Y-you got quite the n-nasty shock from Mettaton."

Y/n: "I'm fine Alphys, in fact, I feel..."

(*You think back to the moment you and Chara shared upstairs. It fills you with DETERMINATION*)

Y/n: "A lot better than I ever have."

Y/n said, finishing his sentence with a smile on his face. Alphys smiled at this and said,

Alphys: "O-oh! That's good."

Another long silence fell before them before Alphys asked,

Alphys: "H-hey, Y/n...is what Mettaton said...true?"

Y/n: "Huh? What he said? What do you mean? He said a lot of nonsense during his show, I just kinda-"

Alphys: "About the Princess!"

Alphys shouted, interrupting Y/n and shocking him. Alphys noticed this and began to have a mini panic attack as she started to apologize.

Alphys: "Ohmygoshimsosorry!Ididntmeantoberude,Iwasjusttryingtogetanswersand-"

Y/n: "Alphys, calm down! It's fine. Just take a deep breathe and relax."

Alphys stopped speaking as she quickly closed her mouth and covered it in fear(?).

Y/n: "Now, calm down. I'll answer your question, you just have to calm down, for your own sake."

Alphys then nodded slowly as she started taking deep breaths, slowly calming down as her breaths began to become less and less until she was fully calm.

Now being calm once again, Alphys then went back to her shy demeanor as she cleared her throat and said,

Alphys: "S-sorry about my outburst. I just want t-to get to the point. I just h-havent heard about Princess C-chara for a long time. I asked Frisk about it and she told me that both of you can see her. Is that true? Is the princess still here?"

Y/n then began to open his mouth before the sound of steps were heard behind him. Y/n then turned towards the sound and saw Frisk coming down the stairs, groggy as she yawned and rubbed her eyes.

As Y/n looked at Frisk, he looked at her hair and tried to stiffle a chuckle as he saw how bad her bed head was. Every strand of her hair was going every which way. Chara, floating behind her.

She then saw Y/n looking towards them both and her face became flushed as Frisk walked up with Snowflake in her hands, sleeping soundly.

Alphys: "O-oh, Frisk! You're awake, good."

Frisk then let out another yawn as she said,

Frisk: "*Yawn* Hey, Alphys."

She then turned to Y/n with the same sleepy expression and said,
