Chapter 6: A Date With Papyrus

As Y/n walked back to Snowdin to meet up with Papyrus, he saw many other stray bones litter the path back to Snowdin, he walked past them and entered back into Snowdin where he saw Papyrus standing in front of the last building that was next to the exit of the town.

He walked up to Papyrus, who said,

Papyrus: ¨So You Came Back To Have A Date With Me! You Must Be Really Serious About This... In That Case, I'll Have To Take You Someplace Really Special... A Place I Like To Spend A Lot Of Time!! Come, Follow Me Human!! For I, The Great Papyrus, Will Guide You There!!¨

Papyrus began to walk towards the library, and Y/n followed him. Papyrus and Y/n then walked past the library, turned around, and went back to where they had started. Papyrus turned to him and with a smile, he said,

Papyrus: ¨My House!!!¨

After saying this, Papyrus ran up to the door, slammed it open and yelled,

Papyrus: ¨Sans!! Frisk!! I Have Obtained A New Friend, And A Possible Love Interest!! And He Is Really Strong Too!! But Not As Strong As The Great Papyrus, Of Course!!¨

Then he ran inside the house with the door wide open and nearly broken. Y/n smiled, shook his head and thought to himself,

Y/n: ('This will surely be interesting to say the least.')

He entered the house and found it to be completely furnished. Y/n carefully closed the door behind him to make sure to not break it any further, and looked around the area.

They were in the living room. Papyrus waited by the stairs for a few seconds and with a huff, he looked back to Y/n and said,

Papyrus: ¨I Know That You Are Anxious To See My Brother And My Greatest Friend, But It Seems That They Are Not Here At The Moment, So Feel Free To Explore My House While We Wait For Them To Return!!¨

Y/n took up his invitation and began to explore around the house. In the front of the door was a wooden table with a lone sprinkle covered rock sitting on a little makeshift bed and next to it was a little card saying,

(*'Sans! Do Not Forget To Feed Rocky Everyday!! Love, The Great Papyrus... P.S. Pick Up Your Sock, You Lazy Bones!!'*)

Papyrus noticed that he was looking at the rock and he said,

Papyrus: ¨That Is My Brother's Pet Rock. He Always Forgets To Feed It. And As Usual, I Have To Take Responsibility.¨

Y/n looked at Papyrus and said,

Y/n: ¨But, it's a rock, you don't need to feed a rock.¨

After he said this, he looked at the rock once again and saw some of the sprinkles that covered the rock, get absorbed into it and the rock shuttered slightly, as if it was enjoying them.

(*Freaked out by the sentient rock, you back away slowly from the table.)

Next to the door, was a lime green couch that looked really lumpy, he pushed down on one of the cushions and heard the sounds of coins bouncing around inside of it.

He unzipped both of the cushions and found 25 coins hidden inside. He looked at Papyrus and said,

Y/n: ¨Hey Papyrus, I found some money in your couch, do you want them?¨

Papyrus shook his head, smiled and said,

Papyrus: ¨No Thank You, Kind Human. But I, The Great Papyrus, Have No Need For Money, So I Will Graciously Allow You To Keep The Coins For Yourself!!¨
