Once he opened the door, the slight sound of a bell chimed as if it was welcoming him in. The warm air and the delicious fragrance of sweet treats that enveloped the interior of the shop made him feel warm and comfortable like a warm spring afternoon, or wrapping your cold body in a blanket to shield yourself from the common cold.
At the front desk was an anthropomorphic rabbit with her back turned to him, she wore a sun hat, a pink tank top, and black shorts. She was at an oven that sat behind the counter, she looked like she was trying to get something out of the oven.

???: ¨I'll be there with you, valued customer.¨
Said the rabbit as she continued to struggle with taking the contents of the oven out.
Y/n: ¨Ok, but would you like some help, miss?¨
Asked Y/n as he watched her continue to struggle.
???: ¨No thank you, I got it, but I do appreciate the offer.¨
Once she had finally taken the tray out of the oven, Y/n saw many cinnamon buns without the frosting on them on the tray she held. He loved freshly baked cinnamon buns from the taste to the smell and the texture of the cinnamon bun when bitten into.
Once she placed the tray of fresh cinnamon buns on the stove top, she turned around towards Y/n and a surprised look flashed onto her face for a split second before falling back into a smile.
The rabbit crossed her arms and said,
???: ¨Well, would you look at that. Another human, I didn't think that I would see another one so soon. Are you new around Snowdin? Because I never saw anyone like you around here.¨
Y/n nodded.
Y/n: ¨Yeah, I actually fell into the underground a couple of hours ago...I think. Anyway, I'm Y/n.¨
He held his hand out toward the rabbit, who shook it with a smile on her face, and said,
Claire: ¨Why, hello Y/n. My name is Claire, I am the owner of this shop, and next door is the inn. My sister is the owner, she actually gets visits frequently, especially by three loudly snoring monsters, they are her *ahem* 'permanent customers.' They never leave their room, and whenever my sister is on her break, she comes over to me and tells me some story's about them, some good, and some bad. Anyway, how can I help you today?¨
Y/n smiled and said,
Y/n: ¨Well, I did see some other buildings and places that I could go to, but I don't know what building is what. Can you tell me what I can do here?¨
Claire smiled and said,
Claire: ¨Grillby's has food, and the library has information... and if you're tired, you can rent a room at the inn, and if you're bored, you can sit outside and watch those two wacky skeletons do their thing.¨
