Chapter 10: The Outburst

Y/n, and Frisk were running while Chara was floated beside them. They were going to the edge of Snowdin town, until Y/n heard another pair of footsteps running behind them.

He looked behind them and saw Papyrus running after them with a bag full of food which were bouncing around in the bag and saying,

Papyrus: "Wait!! Wait For The Great Papyrus!! I Need To Give You Something!!"

He looked to the others and told them to stop for a second, which they did. Both Chara and Frisk has questioning looks on their faces and Chara opened her mouth to say something, but was interrupted by Papyrus tripping over his own foot and face planting into the snow in front of them.

Y/n and Frisk both helped him up onto his feet. Then Papyrus smiled at them both and said,

Papyrus: "Thank You Frisk, Human! I Appreciate You Both For Your Help!!"

Y/n smiled at Papyrus and said,

Y/n: "Its alright Papyrus, what did you need us for?"

Papyrus then pulled out his Cell Phone and with another smile he said,

Papyrus: "I Forgot To Give You My Phone Number, Human!! It's Just Incase We Need To Contact One Another!!"

Papyrus then told Y/n his phone number as he put it into his own Cell Phone.

After he was done, Papyrus then waved them off as they went outside of Snowdin town. As they began to exit Snowdin town, both Frisk and Chara witnessed the mess that was caused by Papyrus' and Y/n's fight.

Bone plates stuck into the snow and multiple trees, some even cut right through and got stuck into the tree behind them.

Frisk and Chara looked at Y/n with surprised looks and Frisk said,

Frisk: "Was this from the Fight with Papyrus!? I've never seen this move before!! What did he do!?"

Y/n then stopped and explained what happened during the Fight with Papyrus. All the while both Chara and Frisk were surprised, as if they've never seen this side of Papyrus before.

Then Frisk turned to Chara, pulled her away from Y/n so that they weren't in earshot and with a worried smile and scratching the back of her head, she began to whisper to Chara about something.

He couldn't tell what most of the conversation was about, but he could make out the words 'Reset' and 'Timeline'.

Once they returned, they both had smiled on their faces which indicated that they were hiding something important from him. But he chose not to pry and continued on his journey with the two girls.

As they walked along the path that was beyond Snowdin, Y/n looked to his left and saw a giant block of ice floating down the river that was next to the path.

Then the fog that covered his vision before the Fight with Papyrus had shown up again and became thicker, until they reached the end of the path and the fog began to clear up.

Once the fog was clear enough to see through, he looked to the river again and saw nothing besides the river itself. He looked down the river and saw nothing.

Then he looked in the other direction, which was nothing but a steady stream. So he thought that it was best to just not question it any further and followed Frisk and Chara, who were waiting for him and the three of them went further down the path until the ground had changed from being covered in snow to being... purple?

Y/n: "The underground sure is a weird place."

Whispered Y/n as they walked into the now warm area. As they were walking, Y/n felt Snowflake moving around in his sweater pocket.
