The front door opened and Scarlett and Maeve rushed to the door. 'And?' Scarlett asked. 'Broken.' Lizzie replied. Jane walked into the hallway and Maeve looked at her right arm in surprise. 'What is that?' she asked. 'Cast.' Jane replied. "Why do you have that?"

"The doctor said this will help my arm get better faster." Jane told. "You picked a nice color." Found Scarlett. Jane beamed with pride. She was allowed to choose the color herself and she chose the color pink. 'Yes, nice! Jane chose the color herself.' Lizzie told me.

'I think it is beautiful.' Scarlett smiled. 'In a few weeks we have to go back to the hospital for a check-up and hopefully her arm will be completely intact again.' Lizzie said. 'We assume that. Maeve and I were in the living room playing games. Would you like to join?'

'Yes Nice!' They walked into the living room. Immediately Maeve ran to the games cupboard and Jane followed her. 'We can do twister!' Maeve took the board game from the cupboard. "Eve, that's not very convenient with Jane's arm." Helped Lizzie remember her daughter. 'Oh yeah.' Disappointed, Maeve put the game back on the shelf. She grabbed another board game and walked with it towards the table.

"Do this?" She held up the game. Everyone agreed and for an hour they played different games. At some point Jane had had enough and lay down on the couch. She was tired from all the experiences of today.

"Jane, come play." Maeve walked over to the couch. "Sweetheart, Jane is tired. Leave her alone.' Lizzie said. "How come she's tired?" Maeve asked. 'Because of all the impressions of today. So much happened today. Jane had to wait a very long time in the hospital.' Lizzie tried to explain.

Maeve looked at her sister's broken arm and she ran out of the room. "Why is she running away now?" Lizzie looked at Scarlett for help. 'No idea.' Scarlett replied. "I'll go check on her." Lizzie followed Maeve upstairs.

"Eve?"

Lizzie walked Maeve into her room and saw Maeve sitting on her bed crying. "Eve, what's wrong?" Lizzie was shocked. Worried, she sat down on the edge of the bed. 'It is my fault.' Maeve sobbed. "What's your fault?" Lizzie didn't understand it. "Because of me, Jane is in pain."

"Hey, look at me." Lizzie said. Maeve looked up. 'It's not your fault. Jane was jumping on the bed and that caused her to fall. Something like that can happen.' Lizzie tried to encourage her daughter. "I pushed Jane." Maeve whispered softly. 'What?'

'I wanted to jump too so I pushed Jane out of the way and she fell.' Maeve said. Immediately she started crying again. "Oh Eve." Lizzie pulled Maeve onto her lap and comforted her. "It really happened by accident." Maeve squeaked. "I know, honey."

'Are you mad at me?' Maeve asked. "No, I'm not angry, but I do think you should apologize to Jane." Lizzie said. "What is an apology?" Maeve asked. 'Saying sorry. Say you're sorry.' Lizzie explained. 'Okay.' Lizzie wiped the girl's tears away. "Are you okay again?"

Maeve nodded. 'Happy.' Lizzie gave her daughter a hug. "I really, really love you Eve." Lizzie could no longer let go of the girl. She loved her children so much.

"Mommy, you're crushing me." Maeve said. 'Oh sorry.' Lizzie quickly let go of the girl. Maeve giggled. 'I'm glad you can laugh again. Shall we go down?' Lizzie stood up. 'Yes.' Maeve raised her arms and Lizzie picked the girl up.

Lizzie walked downstairs with Maeve in her arms. 'Is everything all right?' Scarlett asked. Lizzie nodded. 'I think I'll just go home. Can you make it on your own, Liz?' Scarlett looked at Maeve and then at Jane on the couch. 'I think so.' Lizzie replied. 'If there is anything, just call and I will be there straight away.' Scarlett said. 'That's sweet of you. Thanks for your help today Scar. Without you I wouldn't have survived this day.' Lizzie looked at Scarlett gratefully.

'Come here.' Scarlett spread her arms and gave Lizzie a hug. "You're doing great." Scarlett whispered in her ear. "Thanks Scar." Lizzie let go of Scarlett and Scarlett walked to the hallway to grab her coat. Lizzie put Maeve down on the floor and the toddler walked over to Dodger to see if he wanted to play.

Lizzie walked over to Scarlett. 'Again, thanks for your help.' Scarlett closed her zipper. 'Stop saying thank you, silly. It was just a small effort. I'm just glad I could help.' Scarlett said goodbye to Lizzie and she left for home.

Lizzie closed the door behind her and walked into the living room. Maeve was cuddling with Dodger and Jane was sleeping on the couch. Peace seemed to have slowly returned to the house. Lizzie sat down on a chair and picked up a book. It was time to relax.
