Season 1 - Episode 10
Derek stood up, helping Isabelle to her feet and placed himself in front of her protectively. "You have one chance to explain yourself." Derek states firmly and Peter smiles and looks at Isabelle. "Isabelle, you've grown. You look a lot like your mother."
Isabelle tensed for a second, but shook it off and growled at him. "Don't think flattery's going to get you anywhere. You killed Laura!"
"I'm getting to that." Peter assured. "Do you both know what it's like to be in a catatonic state? Always awake but never living? That's what it felt like. And for 6 years neither of you came to even visit me."
"The pity party isn't getting you anywhere either." Isabelle quipped and Peter fought the glare he wanted to send her.
"The point is, I had no idea what I was doing when Laura showed up. My wolf instincts took over, and I tried holding back. But my body was too psychically weak to fight it."
Derek and Isabelle exchanged looks. As far as excuses go, not that there were many, it was a good one. Derek frowned at Peter. "Why did you kill all those people?"
"I took my own approach on continuing Laura's work."
Isabelle stepped out from behind Derek. So she had been right. As she looked at her uncle all she saw was rage. Rage and guilt. She had so many questions. Why hadn't he revealed himself to them? Why didn't he tell them? Because you have a plan. Vengeance first no matter what.
"You know who it is." Isabelle states, looking her uncle in the eye. Peter nods. "I want to finish what Laura started, and the only way to do that is to take matters into our hands. So, are you with me?"
Derek pulled Isabelle to the side to talk. "I don't want to do this." Isabelle looked up at Derek.
"He killed those people, what kind of justice is that?" While Derek couldn't agree on what form of justice he would have rathered they faced, he wanted to avenge his family. He already knew who it was, but admitting that to himself was something he didn't want to do.
"The police are never going to solve this." Derek told his cousin. "They couldn't solve it 6 years ago, they can't solve it now. We have to take matters into our own hands."
"So what, we're just supposed to help him after he almost killed you and my friends?" Isabelle reminded him of the night at the school. If Peter really was on their side, he wouldn't have hurt them. Not after he had killed Laura. Not if he truly wanted them on his side. Derek grits his teeth frustrated.
"No, but he needs us. He might be the alpha but we have control."
Isabelle shrugs. "Well when you put it like that."
"Niece," Peter called from the hallway. "Nephew, have you reached a verdict?"
Derek and Isabelle turned to face their uncle, they still were reluctant about this. "We'll help you." Derek agreed and Isabelle jumped in. "Under the condition that my friends don't get hurt. No one gets hurt."
Peter considered it for a moment. And when he realized it didn't affect his own plans he agreed.
"I accept."

"Why can't we just do things like normal people?" Isabelle muttered as she followed her cousin and uncle through the school hallways.
Peter didn't listen, opening the fuse box by the locker room and ripping the power cords. Isabelle crossed her arms as the power went out. This wasn't how she figured she would tell Scott that her uncle was the alpha, or that she had decided to help him.
