"Hey... Where are you taking me?" You asked.
He held your hand in a tight grasp whilst leading the way. You walked along as ___ dragged you through the forest. Dried leaves crunched as your feet took each step forward to a place God-knows-where. The moonlight shown down on your heads, creating a faded shaft of light that deflected off your figures. You stared down at the ground as you watched your feet follow his.
"Just wait and see," he said, keeping his gaze forward.
After walking for a few minutes, the tugging on your arm came to a halt.
"We're here," he said, breaking the silence.
You looked up from the ground.
And there it was-- the cliff that towered above a glistening lake, where the moonlight danced upon. Clouds hovered lowly, as if they were longing to touch the land. A gentle breeze ran through the grass that elicited a sound that felt pleasing to the ears. A willow tree stood by at the side, with its long string of leaves gently swaying by the wind.
He gave you a sideways glance as you continued to take in and admire your surroundings. Seeing that you were staring at the willow tree, he dragged you there as you stifled out a small yelp.
Passing through the curtain-like leaves of the tree, the brightness dimmed as its interior loomed over you-- hollow branches stretching out from various directions, becoming thinner as they parted into different directions. You walked around, observing how its string of leaves stopped a few inches from the ground, and a section of them hung by at the side of the cliff.
___ hugged you from behind. His arms rested on your waist, and his hot breath fanned on the crown of your head. ___ suddenly pulled both you down on the grass playfully. You both laughed in the dim moonlight that seeped through the leaves of the tree. You rested your head on his chest, as you closed your eyes listened to the steady beating of his heart.
It was a rather quiet atmosphere you were in. Only the rustling of leaves can be heard, as well as the brook that muttered by.
"Say,"--you clambered on top of him--"why'd you take me here?" you asked, staring down on his deep-coloured eyes, as the ends of your hair hovered upon his cheeks.
A grin tugged at the edges of his face.
"Well, we've been together for so long," ___ rolled over, with him being on top, straddling you. "So I think we should get married."
You raised a brow at him. "I don't know, ___. Would it be worth it?"
"Worth it?" he scoffed. "Oh, I'll show you, (f/n)." He started unbuttoning your shirt, and leaned closer to your ear, "Watch me."
A.N.: [C: Well that escalated quickly. I bet you thought of the song Worth It by Fifth Harmony when you read the title. Anyway, I don't know if you're screaming, banging your head against a wall, or rolling across the street right now, but thanks for reading.]
