Almost a whole week has passed since the filming of Return of the Superman. That day still lingers in San's heart and mind constantly, sudden shots popping up here and there mid interviews or performances. He enjoyed the whole day way too much, he thinks the evening before going back home. He misses the kids the most, as they were such a nice way of disconnecting from the usual routine and all he desires right now is one more play date where he gets his hair done by a four year old girl.

Currently, he is splayed across his bed, luggage done already. He stares up at the ceiling without blinking once for Lord knows how much, but he doesn't feel the usual stinging sensation in his eyes, sign he spaced out for good. Wooyoung isn't home yet, he's at a photoshoot with Yeosang, Yunho and Seonghwa for Elle, so San has the whole apartment for himself. He could do a lot of stuff, for example cleaning despite the lady coming in two days anyways, or watching Tv, but he doesn't feel like doing anything. It's past seven, and if he looks outside, he sees the building across being ignited by orange rays of sun. The sky is slowly losing its soft blue color which currently blends with different shades of purple and orange and yellow. It's a nice sight to watch and all he can dream is how much more beautiful it will be once he's back home, in his mom's garden near the sea, where everything is surrounded by pure nature.

What brings him back to reality is the front door being unlocked. It can't be Wooyoung, he won't be home until much later. He figures it's one of their members, since they all know the codes to their apartments. He listens through the semi closed door, as the person takes his shoes off and wanders into the silent apartment. From the heaviness of the steps, San recognizes Mingi.

A pink haired man appears and with a large hand, he pushes the door wide open.

"Yunho and I are leaving tonight." He is about to hum in response when Mingi suddenly drops his whole weight on him, instead earning a yelp in pain and a smack across his head. But San doesn't complain and lets the younger wrap his arms around his waist while his head rests on his chest. They used to cuddle a lot back when they lived together, so having Mingi act like this warms his heart a little. "Came to spend some time with you before they get back from the shoot."

"Mhm." He hums and finds his fingers playing with Mingi's fried bleached short hair.

"Why are you so silent?" He turns his attention by resting his chin so that he can fully look at San. But the older keeps his eyes glued on ceiling. He doesn't know why he's this silent, but he figures it's the exhaustion from these past few weeks filled with promotions, showcases, interviews, being guests on different shows, photoshoots and so on. They were all so deep into the moment every single day that he didn't even get the chance to talk to the rest about the whole experience from last Wednesday. Yeah, the next day when they all met up, Seonghwa explained shortly how it was and how cute the kids were, San figures he did talk to Hongjoong in more details when they got more time, but San wasn't that lucky. He wanted to talk to both Mingi and Yunho, tell them how it was and how he felt, but he didn't find one moment where he could just be with them, no other people around.

"I'm just tired."

"Makes sense." Mingi mumbles and he's back at resting his left side of the face on San's chest. "Right." He flinches and props himself up, elbows digging lightly on his sides as he does so. "How was the show with kids?"

Did he suddenly got his mind read?

San finally looks away from the ceiling. He can't help it so he grins like a child.

"They were so fucking cute." He whines and proceeds to lift himself up a little by resting the weight on his folded arms. Mingi doesn't really move, so his chin rests on him as he also grins back. "Gosh! It's like all my worries melted away for the whole day. I wanted to talk to you and Yunho, but didn't get the chance at all."
