Do you ever feel like falling in love someday?

These words keep Hongjoong awake for more than he desires. Seonghwa is fast asleep next to him, his warm arm wrapped around his waist as he cuddles him for dear life, but Hongjoong can't seem to be falling asleep at all. He stares up at the ceiling, the only sound reaching his ears being the soft and even breaths coming from the older. Longer strands of dark hair tickle his neck a little, but he doesn't mind it at all, on the contrary, he quite enjoys the feeling.

If he ever feels like falling in love?

He already did and Seonghwa knows it too. It's an open secret they have, and as much as he might blame himself, it's not Seonghwa's fault he's such a lovable person. It's easy to love him, and take care of him, and make sure he's alright and well and happy and maybe this is also Hongjoong's weakness because he really enjoys doing all these stuff. He cannot say it as being painful, because it isn't. Seonghwa expresses his love for people in other ways than others do, and Hongjoong knows the older loves him quite a lot. He's never expected to start having feelings for someone who cannot feel romantic love, and maybe it's also because he's busy with work that he doesn't feel much difference if he is to be honest. He doesn't find it strange at all, to not have his feelings reciprocated in the usual way.

Maybe he is also strange.

He wakes up some hours later, with the older still cuddled to his side, fast asleep. Golden rays of sun enter the room through the open window, making sure to allow the heat of August to warm the space as well. He feels sweaty, and he's sure he is by the wet and sticky feeling his forehead has. They are to leave for the states today, somewhere in the afternoon. This following period of time will be hectic, and stressful and tiring, but it will be worth it. He always loves meeting up with fans and bringing joy to so many people. It gives him energy, it gives him strength and it gives him the answer that all the hard work he does has a great outcome.

As they lay down in bed, with Seonghwa still asleep, he hears movement outside the room.

"Hwa..." He whispers and runs his fingers through his best friend's hair. A small smile forms his lips when the older hums something in his sleep and shifts a little. If he could have the time to just stay like this and stare down at Seonghwa, he would definitely do it. Seonghwa is such a beauty, and he's such a cute sight to look at in the morning. With plump lips, sleepy eyes and entirely confused look once he is awake, he just brings Hongjoong joy. "Come on, it's past noon."

He doesn't even know what time it is, but judging from the fact that they went to bed at four and he fell asleep around five, it must be past noon. And also, either Yunho or Mingi is awake so it really must be past noon.

Seonghwa detangles himself from the younger and sighs, half asleep.

"Five more minutes." He mumbles in the pillow.

Hongjoong chuckles and sits up. He should go pack his stuff while he still has time, but the idea of getting out of bed and going downstairs and actually pack his luggage sounds unappealing. He crawls his way out of the bed, stumbles a little as he approaches the window to close it so no more heat enters, and when he checks for the time, he gasps.

"It's almost four!" Seonghwa mumbles something again but doesn't budge at all.

They need to leave at six in order be at the airport in time.

"Get up." He flicks Seonghwa's forehead. With closed eyes, the older pinches his arm blindly. "I'm serious. We have to eat, pack our stuff..."

"Already packed mine."

The blue haired man sighs.

"Well I didn't." Seonghwa opens one eye which glares up slightly. Hongjoong rolls his eyes at him. "Let's eat at least. You owe me ramen." The older sighs loudly in his pillow, but proceeds to sit up. Hongjoong smile at the sighs. Seonghwa resembles a sleepy bunny, with his long hair fluffed up in all directions. He yawns as he sits up.
