Chapter 13

Luna POV

"Come on," I encouraged Prim with a soft tone as she was trying to roll on to her back. We were currently outside in our house garden playing, looking at the environment around us, and sleeping here and there. It was a sunny day, so the weather was perfect for being outside with a sun lotion baby, and a hat to protect her, besides the weather wasn't over the top hot and nice wind breezes came by so it all worked out well. Mum and Dad were currently out shopping, so I was left Prim.

After our family left Forks, we drove all the way back home to New York, were everyone from our pack welcomed us back with a huge surprise party. It was quite a shock and did wake Prim up, but it was very funny, and it was so good to see all my friends again, especially Jace and Izzy.

Jace and Izzy have been my friends since all three of us were in diapers. My parents are friends with their parents, so it worked out well. Unfortunately, Jace and Izzy still haven't found their mates, making them very anxious because if a werewolf cannot find their mate, then their wolf will disappear.

Just thinking about mates made me think about Paul, what he was doing, whether he found somebody else, and whether he forgot about me. I knew it was all my fault because of what happened, but I still miss him. I miss his addictive smile, his laugh, his chocolate brown eyes, and everything else. I also miss the pack; they became good friends of mine before the whole drama happened.

"Waah!" Prim suddenly exclaimed making me worry that something happened but when I looked at her, she was suddenly laying on her back, staring at me with those big puppy eyes of hers.

"Oh Prim!" I giggled as I picked her up and kissed her puffy baby cheeks. "You are so smart! Oh yes you are Primrose."

I continued to praise my baby sister when suddenly my phone rang. I held Prim with one arm as with my free hand I answered the call, not checking who was calling. "Hello?"

"Luna?" A female voice asked on the other line making me confused.

"Yes," I answered. "Who is this?"

"It's Bella," the female answered making my eyes widen.

<<One Week Later>>

I inhaled sharply the once familiar smell. The smell of woods, and a lot less pollution. Forks. Ahh, it's good to be back, even for a short amount of time. It was actually because of Bella I'm currently back in Forks, for her big wedding day tomorrow. The weather is quite nice and sunny, a good August weather for a wedding.

I walked out of the airport to immediately spot Bella with her big red truck. Aish, she still didn't get rid of that. "Bella!"

I broke into a run and jumped into her open arms, giggling at our behaviour. If you remember my so called 'friendship' with Bella, you will remember that we didn't always see eye to eye, so this sort of girly behaviour is a huge change.

"Ahh, I missed you Luna," Bella murmured as we continued to hug.

"Me too Bells," I whispered before letting her go and following her into her truck before we drove off. "So, how have you been besides the big wedding news."

"Umm, good actually," Bella answered. "Graduation was probably the best, except you weren't there. Edward and Jake worked everything out between each other. It has been quite nice to be honest."

I hummed in agreement. "So where are we going exactly?"

"My place for the night, then Alice and Rosalie will pick both of us up and get us ready for tomorrow at their house," Bella exclaimed.

"Oh," I responded. "And who are Alice and Rosalie?"

"Edward's adopted sisters."

Oh shit. I'm going to go to a house with vampires.
