-Emilia Diaz-
Knowing I have to tutor Ethan is kinda weird in my opinion, not that I hate him, I just think it's weird with the way he's been acting recently.
He didn't call me he say he'd did the other day, so I told Alex I can call him to give him the homework answers.
He made me choose a different outfit again, I don't hate cargo pants, but I don't like the outfit with it.
It's a tight black shirt with tan cargo pants, I still did my regular make up and jewelry.
I accidentally broke one of my bracelets that I had this morning.
Ethan and I plan on meeting today after school since his practice got canceled, I grab my Celsius out of my bag and talk with Eliana before first period
"So you have to tutor Ethan?" She asks and I nod sighing "he also keeps calling me 'freckles'" I say and she nods slowly
"Calling it now, he likes you." Eliana says I stare at her "no- he probably just wants to do a bet on me.." I say walking with her
Ellie shrugs "from what I hear he uses the same nickname on all of the girls he does bets one." She says sighing "maybe he's changing it up?" I say
Eliana stops and stares at me "Emilia, I love you, but barely anyone has freckles in this school maybe like fifteen percent" she says stopping infront of the English room
I smile at her "alright I'm gonna go since the bell is about to ring, see you later, Em" she says before walking away, I go in the room and sit in the back noticing Ethan is there
I give him a soft smile "I'm surprised your here before me." I say and he hums texting on his phone, I grab my folder out, pen and book setting it on my desk.
"What subject do you struggle the most with?" I ask Ethan who now puts his phone down rubbing his face "math, shit is annoying." He grumbled, I stare at him "math is like my second favorite subject" I state
He looks at me "that's because you, freckles, are a nerd." He says giving me his usual grin.
I don't know why, but my face flushes. "I care about my work, you could learn to." I smile at him and he nods "maybe I could." He says and I nod
"So I guess we'll start with math today, maybe work on it for a week or so." I say and he lets out an annoyed sigh "do we have to do it all week?" He asks and I shrug
"I mean if you get better at math, then no, probably like three days we'll spend on it, then move to your second worst subject" I say smiling at him and he nods.
"Chemistry is probably up there." He says and I nod "it's not an easy class, I sometimes ask my brother for help on it since it was his strongest subject." I say and Ethan hums
Mr. Delaney walks in and I see Ethan rolling his eyes, I turn to the front of the class and pay attention we already finished reading Shakespeare a few weeks ago.
I'm waiting on my test results from it along with a few quiz grades, I scribble a bit on the side of my paper as Mr. Delaney talks "I'll be handing back your tests from last week." He says grabbing out a stack of papers
I bite my nails watching him hand out the papers, upside down.
I bite my nails when he hands me mine giving me a smile, I hesitate grabbing the paper and flip it over staring at the number that's written in red ink
Ninety five.
I chew at my nails and feel as if everyone is staring at me, only one person is "ninety five is good, Emilia" Ethan says.
