I'm with my mom planning the appointment tomorrow to get my nose pierced, I'm so excited

I can't wait for my birthday, especially can't wait to spend time with my friends tomorrow at school.

"Okay, do you want me to pick you up early, or regular time?" Mom asked, I shake my head "regular time is fine" I tell her she smiled and nodded

I look down at my phone and see that Silas is trying to FaceTime me, I go upstairs to my room and press accept

"Hey Em, what's up?" He asks I shrug, I haven't talked to him since like last week when he told me about Mr.Delaney

Speaking of him...

"Uhm- Mr.Delaney switched my seat in class." I tell him, I notice he freezes "what? Why." Silas asks

"I guess he thought Ethan was distracting me? Which he wasn't" I said, my brother nods slowly

"Where are you sitting now?"

"By his desk." I say, once again Silas freezes "he did? Did you tell mom or dad?" He asked and I shake my head

"I don't really think I have too..." I say Silas sighed and hands Sophia a pot with water in it

"Em, I love you and all, but you are so damn innocent, like Evelyn innocent." He says

I sighed this time "I just don't think something's wrong." I say grabbing clothes out for tomorrow.

"Well, just know if he lays a hand on you I'm breaking both of his." I roll my eyes when Silas says that

"Anyways mom made the appointment for my septum piercing, what time are you and Sophia coming up?" I asked he shrugged

"Sophia and I have an exam and lab we need to get done, so we're gonna finish that, come back here for a bit then come over" he says and I nodded

I mostly tell Silas about school leaving that talk with Sam out, I still don't get what that was so I try not to care too much about it.

"Oh I'm gonna ask if I can go to the homecoming game maybe" I tell Silas

He nods "you should, homecoming games can be good, if you win" he says I smile at the last comment

I look at my phone when I get a text

Ethan: did we have any homework?

I grab my phone to text him

Me: yeah, let me check if I finished it and maybe I can help you with it

Ethan: thanks freckles.

"So who were you texting?" Silas asks when I go back to the call "just someone I'm tutoring" I say and my brother nods his head

"Who?" He asked "hey, don't worry about my texting life you ass" I say

I grin when he rolls his eyes, the only time I curse is mostly around Silas or Eliana, other than that I don't.

I feel like if I curse around others they'll think I'm rude and disrespectful, and I do not want that.

I like being nice to others, I especially like knowing if people like me or not, I'm not sure why, I just do.

After a few hours I hung up the call because Sophia and I were playing eight ball and I kept losing.

And Silas was making fun of me being I 'sucked' at the game.

I grab my folder out of my bag to see if I did my homework or not, I just need to finish it so I do.
