Ethan and I haven't talked really since I invited him over for dinner..which is mainly my fault.

Papà said I should be careful incase Ethan and I get too close to the point one of papà's enemies find out.

Which I'm also wondering if he said that cause he doesn't want me dating someone- and isn't a fan of Ethan maybe? I don't really know

Anyways, so I guess I'm a little scared about that which is why the only time I talk to him is when I'm tutoring him

Which is awkward cause there's so much I wanna say to him, like how I like Ethan.

Because I do. When he was over for dinner I finally accepted it, I'm also scared about what people will say..

Will they tell me it's a bet? That Ethan is taking it? Will they make comments about us? Stare at us and give me dirty looks?

Class is almost over and since there's a sub they gave us a free period there's like fifteen minutes left or something

Alex and Josh are sitting next to me, not sure why, but I continue reading my book trying to ignore what they're saying

"So how much money has he been getting for this?" I hear someone ask, ignore it. I tell myself

"So far he has about a hundred, and that's for just talking to her, if he gets with her he'll be up to what, two hundred?" Alex's voice says

I turn towards them, what are they talking about?

"So what happens if he actually starts liking her?" Someone asked, Josh shrugged "doubt it, I mean, sure she looks like a good fuck, but probably doesn't know how to give a decent blowjob"

"You know what we should do, if he takes her virginity we should double it, give him four hundred" Alex says

"Who are you guys talking about?" I asked, Alex and Josh look at me.

Both giving me a smirk "hey Emilia, what are you doing?" Josh asked getting off the desk and walking towards me

"Just reading.." I mumble making him hum "let me see this book." He takes it out of my hand before I can say yes or no

"You know, Emilia, you're a nerd." Alex says "honestly, all you care about is your grades, you should care about something else." Josh leans in

"Well obviously one of us have to care for our grades." I cross my arms "no wonder why he's betting on you." Josh mumbled toss the book on my desk

"Who?"

"Ethan."

My eyes widened, "you should read the text between us since you love reading so much, he's been complaining about how he wants this bet over"

My nails dig into my skin, the bell rings and grab my stuff rushing out

I scramble to open my locker taking deep breaths as I put books in, I wipe my eyes to get rid of the tears forming, taking another deep breath.

I shut my locker after exchanging books and start walking towards the lunch room, I feel an arm around my hand and getting pulled.

Before I could even process it, a hand was on my mouth, the lock on the door clicked and the lights turned on.

I'm met with Ethan, he stares at me intensely and I glare at him "why did you do that." I whisper shout

"We can't keep up this game we have Emilia." He states, i stare at him confused "we can't keep acting as if we hate each other when we don't." He says.
