I have to pick Emilia up soon, she said she was getting ready when my parents left for work.

I cleaned up the whole house since it's was a mess, part of me is nervous for her to come over, the other half is happy.

We'll probably order food for when we get hungry, or make it, but I'd prefer her not looking at an empty fridge.

So I'll find a way to convince her that ordering food is easier than cooking, make up some lie like 'we're not allowed to cook home alone' which is bullshit

My parents wouldn't care what I did, as long as I didn't ruin their perfect image.

Maybe we can order that pasta she likes and that I got with her the night we had a date.

My dove: my parents wanna know if I'll be eating dinner there?

Perfect.

Me: yeah, I was thinking we could order food, it'll be easier than cooking?

My dove: yeah that's fine with me🤗

I let out a relieved breath and texted her

Me: should I come pick you up now?

My dove: yeah, I'm just grabbing a few things we can use to study with

Me: I thought you'd forget about that.

Can't believe we'll be hanging out and studying, but oh well I guess.

I'm driving to Emilia's house to pick her up, noticing one car in the driveway, I get out of my car and go to the front door and knock on it

When it opens I'm met with Emilia's father, he crosses his arms when he sees me "so, you're dating my daughter now?" He asked and I nodded

He hums "you hurt her in anyway, and I mean anyway, I promise you and I can do far worse. Got it?" He said I nodded, he nods before shouting something in Italian

Not long after a dog comes down the stairs with my dove, she gives me a smile and stands next to her father

He tells her something and she hums "yes, papà, I promise" she says

He nodded "I'll see you later, yes?" He asked and Emilia nodded she gave him a hug before walking to me.

I get a glare from her father when Emilia grabs my hand, his glare quickly goes away when Emilia looks at him "you ready?" I asked and Emilia nodded

"Bye, papà" she said and I followed her to my car, opening the side door for her and she gets in

"So, why do we have to have a tutoring session?" I asked and Emilia glared at me "we have a test coming up" she stated

"We can study another time." I say and Emilia sighed "I thought we'd do what I want?"

"I thought your wants would be something fun, in my defense."

Emilia rolls her eyes and I start driving to my house and opening the door for her.

"So..where should we go?" She asked "my room" I tell her and she nods following me to my room.
