Hating Emilia

Eliana is coming over to hang out, my parents said it was okay if I didn't go in to school today...because of yesterday, and that it's okay for her or Ethan to come over.

So, she is, and surprisingly she isn't grounded for the fight that happened yesterday, even though I know Ethan would rather skip school then leave me alone, I can't do that to him.

He needs to be in school, and kinda get the work for me, but his handwriting isn't that great if I'm being honest.

Usually if Eliana got suspended or detention, her parents would ground her, or take her car keys away.

I rub my eyes and pet Bambi as she stayed with me last night, I get up and go to my shower, forcing myself to get ready for today.

Even thought I really didn't want to I did it anyways, which I regret.

But oh well, I wash my face, change into sweats and a hoodie, tying my hair up into a bun.

I make my bed and go downstairs, it's ten am, so I doubt my parents are still home, and I'm sure Leo left already.

Bambi follows me downstairs I notice food on the counter and I grab it

'I'll be back in about a few hours, warm up the food, drink water. Not energy drinks.

-Papà'

I sighed not being able to drink an energy drink, but I'll have one later I guess, Bambi must've not eaten

So while the foods warming up I feed her, seeing that there's not a lot of snow in the backyard.

So it'll be easy to get her to walk outside, rather than having her jumping in the snow since she likes that

I grab my food out of the microwave and eat it, checking my phone for when Ellie will be here, which is in a few hours.

Ellie is here now and she takes her shoes off and hangs her jacket up "how've you been?" She asks and I shrug

"Not sure." I mumbled and she frowned, we sit on the couch in the living room and talk

Bambi barks at me and it makes me jump "what is it?" I asked, she stares at the back door which means she wants to go out "wanna go out with me?" I asked

Eliana shrugged "sure." She said, we put our shoes and jacket on, I let Bambi out and she does whatever she wants to do.

Getting her energy out and everything, once she's done she walks over to me and I pet her "you know, sometimes Bambi concerns me." Ellie said "why?"

"I don't know, she's just such a strange dog, but I love her." She said petting Bambi "well I'm freezing, and I want a blanket, so I'm going in." I say and Ellie scoffs "wow, your gonna leave me out here?"

"You can come if you want to, I recommend not freezing out here" I smiled and Ellie comes inside with me, we take our shoes and jacket off

I go upstairs and grab a blanket while she looks for a movie.

"Put on a Christmas movie." I say as Ellie is still looking for a movie "what, no, Christmas's is over." She stared at me

I sighed and tried helping Ellie pick movies, but she can't choose on one.

So we ended up just putting a show on to watch.

By the time we finish the show, papà and mom are home, it was only a few episodes

"Hey, Em" mom says and I smile "hi" I said and she sat next to me "what were you guys watching?" She asked and I shrugged "just some show Ellie found." I said

Mom hummed "Ellie, if you want you can stay for dinner." She said "thanks" Eliana said.

My mom gets up from the couch and goes over to the kitchen possibly looking for something to eat or make.

Ellie and I look for another show "hey..are you gonna be back to school soon?" She asked

I shrugged "I'm not sure.." I mumbled, Ellie nodded "I think you should go back, and maybe you guys can argue to get Delaney fired" she said and I hummed

"This all...it just all feels like it's my fault.." I mumbled and Ellie frowned "I mean, I've barely talked to my father because of how I feel." I say.

Knowing that Mr. Delaney did what he did yesterday because of papà, it worries me

Is that how it'll always be? I really hope not.

Because then I might just quit school, but, I need to get into a good college, really badly.

I want to get into a good college.

Eliana finally finds a movie we can watch and puts it on until dinner is ready.

"Can you feed Bambi?" Mom asked me and I nodded, we just finished the movie, I leave Eliana to watch the credits since she loves listening to the music they have at the end.

I grab Bambis bowl and fill it with her food, mixing it and then setting it down so she can eat.

Before Ellie and I can go eat dinner there's a knock at my door, I open the door and see Ethan standing there "Ethan? Don't you have work?" I asked

He shrugged "I got fired, but anyways here's the school work." I blink "wait, you got fired?" I say

He shrugged again "it's fine. He tells me "I- what happened?" I asked crossing my arms

"I had to bring Cassie in while I worked, someone complained and yeah." He tells me "Ethan..you know I can watch her while you work, okay?" I say

"You're my girlfriend, Emilia, not my babysitter." He said, I roll my eyes "I'm okay with helping you out, you don't have to pay me, just..please don't act like you're alone."

Ethan pauses, and nods his head "yeah, okay, I have to go.." he mumbled, Ethan pulls me into his hold and hugged me, he kisses my head and pulls away

"I'll see you?"

I nod my head, I'm not sure when he'll see me next, but he will.

I got bored of writing this chapter tbh😮‍💨

I was gonna add a text or sm, but I decided not to cause yeah😋
