Our time in Monaco had dragged on to say the least.

Max and I went on a few dates to satisfy Taylor and Mark, even both posting on our Instagram stories a few times to draw attention. The press was loving all of it. They were eating up all of the sightings of us together, especially when Lili would join – most articles mentioning the fact that I was Max's first 'girlfriend' that he really let be around his daughter.

Now, we were in Australia for the Grand Prix here. The flight had taken forever, allowing enough time for Lili to meltdown... twice. For one of the meltdowns, Max was able to comfort her. For the other, Max tried and tried until she eventually asked for me, falling asleep while laying on my chest for the rest of the duration of our flight.

"Lil, you have to carry your bag since you insisted on bringing it today." Max jogged over to where Lili and I were walking about the paddock.

We'd arrived an hour or so ago and Lili was dead set on exploring after we had eaten, just like she was deadset on bringing her small backpack for race day. She's nearly screamed her head off when Max had told her no before we left the hotel, complaining about how she needed it, she wanted to be able to bring her coloring book and crayons in case she got board. Eventually, Max gave in, wanting to spare a headache for the day.

The 5-year-old pouted as she took the bag from her father, sliding it onto her back. "Ok, fine."

Max and I laughed at his daughter's antics, something we did often nowadays.

"Have fun, you two." The driver smiled, mainly at his daughter. He leaned down to kiss the top of her head. "Behave, Liefje." Max stood up straight, sending a smile to me this time. I wonder how much he hated having to pretend to like me. "Don't lose her, please." A kiss to my cheek.

I rolled my eyes, shoving him a little. "You say that like I've done it before."

He smirked at me, "There's a first time for everything, Rockstar." With a shrug of his shoulders, he turned around and left us there, jogging back over to the Red Bull hospitality area.

Lili took hold of my hand, leading me who knows where. I just followed for a while, knowing that, as long as I was with her, she couldn't get into too much trouble.

"Can we go see Uncle Charlie?" She asked after a couple of minutes.

I raised an eyebrow, giggling at the question. "Since when has he been your uncle?" I squatted down so I was closer to her height, something I've realized she enjoys.

"Daddy said they knew each other for a long time." Lili shrugged.

"That's a fair statement." She had a point there. "Did you know that I've known Uncle Charlie longer than your Daddy has?"

Lili gasped in shock. Oh how I loved little kids. "No, way!"

"Yes, way!"

My laughter continued as I stood up straight again and took the young girl's hand, walking with her toward the Ferrari hospitality area. It didn't take us long to get there, the driver in question running out to greet us at our arrival.

As soon as he was close enough, Charles scooped Lili up in his arms, spinning her in a circle as she squealed. Ugh, somebody get this man a child and soon.

"Did you know that Ri knows you longer than my Daddy does?" Lili asked, holding his face between her hands as she spoke to him.

Charles chuckled, pulling me into a side hug, "I did know! I met Ri when we were little kids. I met your Daddy when we were a little bit older."

"Lili asked to see her 'Uncle Charlie' so I had to bring her here."

I'm pretty sure Charles' just melted because he let out the loudest 'aww' and pressed a kiss to Lili's cheek. She stuck her tongue out yelling 'ew' and she attempted to push his face away, the two bursting into a fit of giggles as it all happened.
