In the twilight of a world shrouded in a cloak of darkness, where the shadows dance with whispers of ancient prophecies, two kingdoms stand divided by the sharp edge of destiny's blade.
He knelt before the throne steps, eyes, ablaze with the secrets of time, fixed on the delicately carpeted floor.
"A set of twins, nurtured from moonlight's caressing, bound by blood, sealed with a dragon's blessing."
His voice, a gentle whisper of wisdom, echoed through the room in hushed winds.
"In their hands, the elements shall bend, to forge a path where darkness ends."
His words hung heavy in the air, the throne room in a silent atmosphere of tension. A frosty sigh sliced through the thick air, causing the man to twitch noticeably and bow his head lower, his silver beard grazing the textured flooring.
"Wiseman, rise." The order echoed through the room, the noblewoman's commanding voice shaking fear into the guards and servants in the gathered room. The elder lifted his head, revealing foggy blue eyes of mystery and pale skin carved with the gentle torture of age.
"Two sisters," She whispered in a venomous hiss. "Two sisters who dare to challenge my rule. Those who dare to jeopardize our kingdom's sovereignty have no sanctuary here."
She waved her hand in a graceful gesture, calling forth her most trusted advisor to step forth. They stepped to her side, and she leaned over, the jewels from her garments clinking as she did so.
"Summon forth the hunters, those of possession to the darkest souls to carry out my bidding," she murmured, the determination in her voice cutting through the silence like a blade through flesh. "Find these sisters and bring them to me, leave no stone unturned and no child unharmed. We shall extinguish their light before it has a chance to illuminate the darkness."
Meanwhile, in the hidden corners of the realm, whispers of the prophecy spread like wildfire, igniting a sense of hope within the hearts of those living in fear of the war that had recently set ablaze. The news of the prophecy, as well as the queen's order, breezed through the kingdom and onto the next. Warriors found their hope, while mothers feared for what was to come for their children.
In a small village near the edge of the Acadris Kingdom, lay a small cottage that emitted a warm glow into the rainy, night. Around a wooden table, a family of four gathered, their laughter mingling with the sounds of their utensils brushing the plates as they shared a hearty meal and jokes.
The parents exchange tender glances as they watch over their two young daughters, their innocence a beacon of hope in a world fraught with darkness. Two little girls, all distinguishably different from one another, but their eyes gleamed with the same sense of promise. The children, their eyes wide with wonder, giggle and chatter amongst themselves, unaware of the storm brewing on the horizon.
