EEVEE

"Hey kid, I'm sorry you have to deal with this. I didn't really intend for this to happen."

"Hm?" Eevee, who had been exploring the small kitchen cabinets, turned back to see her new roomate seated on one of the chairs at the small table, his black hair falling to the side of his face  like a curtain. His eyes were fixed on his pale hands as he fiddled with a bracelet on his wrist.

"No, don't worry about that!" Eevee answered immediately, her eyes widening. "I really don't mind, it's not your fault!"

After a few seconds of silence, Eevee picked up her pamphlet. "Hey, it looks like we have an orientation assembly in a few hours! Wanna head there together after unpacking?"

"Huh? Yeah, sure. Why not?" He answered her with a nod."

"Great!" Eevee grinned and picked up her bags and lugged them to one of the two bedrooms. She sighed with contentment as she took in the area, it was quite big, bigger than the room she grew up in at the Hale house, and she began to feel a sense of overwhelming excitement within her as she thought up many ways she could decorate it.

As she stood there, in the middle of the room where she was to spend the rest of the year in, she noticed something that was hung up in front of the doors of what she assumed to be the closet. She approached it – the delicate outfit that was pieced together and hung on a golden hanger. With eyes wide in awe, she took the uniform down with gentle hands, and stepped over to the large standing-mirror that almost covered half of an entire wall.

She held the uniform up to her chest, realizing that it seemed to be her exact size. With a hopeful heart, she realized that it was tailored specifically for her, the skirt length just barely above the knees, sleeves long and cuffed; everything was just as she liked. She realized, as she recalled seeing older students walking through the campus , that each uniform was specific to their bodies, preferences, and even religion, respectfully.

As she brought it back to the closet, she hung it back in its spot and brought her luggage over, deciding to hang some of Adele's clothing before they got too wrinkled in her bags. She didn't bring any of her possessions from the Hales which consisted mostly of Hannah and Joey's schoolbooks and old clothing.

Setting the luggage down, she opened the closet, the giant doors smooth and silent as they slid apart. Her eyes widened as they opened, the sight of what was inside having her on a momentary shock. The closet was already lined with rows and rows of clothing – variations of their school uniform. She peered inside, awestruck by all that loomed over her little frame. It was still quite hard for her to believe that all this was for her, available for her and only her to use freely.

She stepped into the closet, surprised by the mere fact that she was able to, and found room to hang her own clothes.

Eevee found that she had very much enjoyed settling herself into her new room – All what she had decided to put off for later, she ended up doing it all within the first two hours of her arrival.
