after unlocking my apartment's door, i lazily put down my book bag on my kitchen counter, not wanting to think about work until tomorrow.
i flopped onto the grey cotton couch in my small living room, putting my feet up and taking out my phone. i decided to message lee, hoping he'd still be up. it's only a little after midnight, so it shouldn't be too late to talk.

hii! i'm home from work
it took a couple of minutes but he replied.

oh, hi! did you have a good day?
aisha
i did! we did a bit of research on an artifact we got from
peru
lee
you do archaeology?
aisha
yep! i've done a few research projects and been to a
few countries to research
lee
that sounds fun
what was the artifact from peru?

it was a bowl made from pottery, which was used by the
incas
there was a spoon that was left in it too

what do you do, ik you said your schedule varies but why?

oh... this is awkward. what do i say? i can't straight up say i'm an idol! do i say i'm a stylist for idols? choreographer? vocal teacher? security guard? i'll say i'm a security guard, hopefully she won't pressure me into saying what hours i have.

i suddenly remembered the times i got to know minho through emma, and how he was really like how he acted on camera. i didn't forget him, obviously not, i could never.
i haven't talked to him since last year. i got a new phone and forgot to add his phone number, but i kept forgetting to ask emma to ask seungmin. oops. i could do that now, but i don't really have the energy to go off of twitter to go to messages and ask emma. and plus, he's probably forgotten about me by now, he's so busy with his idol life i don't think he'd take a minute to think about me again. and he meets so many people around the world, how would his brain storage keep me in there?
