it really is

today we had first graders from one of the elementary
schools come to the archaeology lab to learn about
excavation and the process of examining artifacts
so i was tasked with showing them the stuff we've
recently found and are planning to ship back to their
home countries and the kids were just so starstruck
with our finds it was so adorable 😭

we showed them some coins and a deformed ring
our archaeologists found at stonehenge and were
planning to send back and the kids were all "oohs"
and "ahhs" it was so cute

we let them hold a dagger we recently found here in
denmark used by the vikings

under careful supervision ofc

it's all clean and stuff no one's getting infections

they all said they'd come to the museum were sending
the dagger to just to hold it again 😭

i need to be held i'm having too much cuteness overload
