here's the tea so we've been on a few dates these past
like two weeks and omg he's such an amazing guy oml

he finally asked me to be his gf today during our date to
a thai restaurant

i'm so happy.

like genuinely i'm giggling and kicking my feet it's
unhealthy

where'd you meet him?

he's 25 and he works at the national museum of denmark
as like a tour guide

we met while i was briefing with one of the museum
workers and we just started talking

he asked me out one day so i'm like hell yeah so he took
me out to an italian restaurant

greatest first date ever.

i stared blankly at my phone processing the new information. am i jealous about a guy i don't even know?

jeongin came out of his room to get a snack when he saw me wide eye. he tilted his head in confusion, trying to decipher what i was thinking about. it looked like i had witnessed a public beheading for the first time.

"minho? what's going on?" he asked, walking over to the couch. "you look like the thousand yard stare meme."

i couldn't even look at him. "aisha has a boyfriend." i simply said, leaning back on the couch.

i gave jeongin my phone so he could read through the messages. he frowned upon reading them. he put the phone down on the glass coffee table before looking at me, sighing.

i had my elbows on my knees, my hands running through my hair. why was i stressing over something that doesn't need to be stressed over?

the younger rubbed my back in comfort. "well, let me say this," he began.

i looked up at him, meeting his eyes. "i don't mean to make you upset when i say this, but she doesn't know that you're the one messaging her. you need to understand that." he said in the softest voice possible.

i nodded. he was right. he added, "also, it's been a year since you've last seen each other. perhaps she's lost feelings? maybe she's gone back to just fangirling."

i nodded again. "i was just hoping when the time was right i would say my actual identity or maybe even meet up in real life. i was going to confess at some point, too."

i still had feelings for the girl. i was planning for when i revealed my identity and we talked like normal friends, i would say how i really feel about her. jeongin is right though, it's been a year, she's probably lost all romantic feelings for me, if any. i guess it's not a bad thing if she's still fangirling, though?

jeongin let out another sigh. "if you were to meet up in real life again and she's still dating her boyfriend, you can't be mad at her for still dating him. i bet your ass if she wasn't dating that guy, she knew your identity, and you confessed while she was still single she would take you in a heartbeat."

he's right. this is just another crush i'd have to get over. not a huge deal, right?

"you're right." i side smiled at jeongin, who was still rubbing my back. "thanks, dude."

"no problem. i'm here for all of your girl problems." he got up and made his way to the kitchen.

i picked up my phone again to message back aisha.
