it had been a few days since i arrived in jeju. the flight from paris to seoul to jeju was great—no problems at all. a bit of turbulence while coming into seoul as it was a little windy that day but that wasn't a huge issue. it was perfect weather while coming into jeju; barely any clouds, bright blue sky, the ocean making slight waves that washed up on the beaches, and the city was buzzing with people.

the hotel is right by the beach where we'd be having the wedding. the floor i'm staying on overlooks the ocean, and let me tell you it's a beautiful view; for the past three days i have taken a picture of the sunset. i've been to the pacific ocean and seen the sunset, which every time has left me in awe, but something about jeju's sunset is different.

i haven't done too much sightseeing other than going to the beach to walk along the beach, run to the convenient store to get a quick dinner or midnight snack, or getting dinner at a restaurant. lars and mikel got felix and changbin to go to the jeju stadium with them to watch a soccer game. i was also invited but i declined because i had a cafe date with emma.

it was 7:30pm now and two days before the wedding. my stomach started grumbling, signalling me to get my shoes on and go find food. i groaned a little because i was comfy watching tiktok in my bed, but decided i shouldn't starve myself just to watch tiktok.

i walked over to the small dresser infused with the tv console and pulled out a light blue hoodie and put it on. it was a little chilly i last checked so hopefully i don't turn into an icicle on my short walk to the convenient store. i went over to the closet by the door and got out what you call the "stray kids converse". they were a little worn as i've had them for about two years but that's not going to stop me from wearing them.

i took the elevator down to the lobby and out the hotel doors. there wasn't any traffic on the street the hotel was on so i walked as fast as i could across the street to the convenient store.

"hyunggg i'm hungryyy!" jeongin cried, slamming his phone into the bed.

"go get your own food?" i scoffed, looking at the younger who was comfortably sitting in the blankets of his bed.

"it's so cold thoughhh!" he pulled the ginormous white comforter over his head.

i shook my head, but agreed anyway. "fine, because i'm so nice and i'm your favourite hyung, i'll go buy you food."

jeongin took the comforter off of his head and looked at me with confusion. "but my favourite hyung is hyunjin?" his voice went up a couple of octaves.

i gasped and put my hand on my chest. "hyunjin?! i guess i'm not buying you food then." i sat back down on my bed and took out my phone.

he shot his head up alarmingly and started waving his arms in the air. "no! wait! you're my favourite hyung! i was joking!" he pleaded. he was now hovering over my bed in hopes i'd get him food.

i chuckled at his words. "hmm. i'm not sure now."

he got out of bed and got onto the floor in between our beds, getting onto his knees and formed his hands into prayer hands. "please minho! i'm so hungry! you wouldn't let a famished boy walk out on the cold streets of jeju!"

i got up from my bed again and headed towards the door. "don't worry, i won't let you starve. what do you want?"

"ramen and kimbap, please! any flavour of ramen is fine, and you can pick the drinks." he smiled cutely.
