i hugged emma one more time before leaving the restaurant venue. "i know i've said it about a gazillion times, but you seriously did amazing today. i mean, i knew from the first time we discussed the wedding topic you'd do phenomenal. no, i think you went beyond phenomenal; there isn't even words to describe it." i rambled, using my hands to talk.

emma chuckled and patted my shoulder. "i think you'll do amazing too! whenever it happens, of course. it will happen, it's a statement not a fact." she continued, "anyway, get back to the hotel safely. if you need anything call me. i may be a married woman now but that doesn't mean i'll come to you whenever you call me." she looked like an overly protective mom saying that.

i nodded and thanked her. "i'll get back safely, don't worry about me."

i hugged emma just ONE more time before saying goodbye. i also waved seungmin goodbye, who returned the wave. as i turned around to leave, i saw minho at the corner of my eyes jogging up to me after talking with seungmin. i stopped in my tracks and waited for him.

"aisha! i have an important question." minho slightly stuttered, scratching the back of his neck.

i tilted my head and smirked. "what could that possibly be?" i crossed my arms.

he held his hands behind his back and rocked on his heels, "do you want to walk along the beach together? unless you don't want to, of course, i mean it is late-"

i chuckled which made him stop. "i'll walk with you. this dress is comfortable anyway. will you be comfortable in your suit?"

he sighed a sound of relief and nodded, "i'll be fine. i just want to hang out, you know?"

i blushed and smiled. "of course, i do too! let me go tell lars." he nodded and followed me to where lars was.

lars was walking a little ahead of the crowd, hand in hand with mikel. his brown curly hair bounced with every step he took, a bright smile appearing on his face and laughing at something his boyfriend said. i didn't want to interrupt him because i think happy looks good on him. unfortunately, i had to to let him know of my plans.

"lars," i called as i got closer to him.

he turned around to look at me. "yes?" he asked, stopping in his tracks.

"i'm going to hang out with minho for a little bit. you can go back to the hotel, no need to wait for me." i explained.

his eyes flickered to the older man beside me and he smirked. "hanging out? that sounds fun. have a good time!" he mischievously said. mikel laughed too, smirking at the two of us.

i rolled my eyes. "no! as friends!"

minho scoffed and mumbled something incoherently. i didn't ask him to repeat, instead i just waved off lars and mikel as they walked to the uber that was parked in the parking lot. i turned back to minho and offered him a smile saying i was ready. he smiled back and we began our walk along the shoreline.

it was now around 9:30pm, so definitely no sunset to walk beside. fortunately, it was clear skies tonight and the moonlight illuminated every step we took. the stars added some light as well, making it brighter; bright enough to see minho's gleaming eyes. i glanced at him for a second but he had the biggest smile i had ever seen etched on his face, his cheeks were still a rosy colour and every few seconds or so he'd turn to look out on the ocean. if i could take a picture right now, i would. actually, scratch that—let my impulsive thoughts win.

i took out my phone from my crossbody bag and snapped a picture when he wasn't looking. the shutter of the phone's camera caught his attention which made him turn his full attention to me. he furrowed his eyebrows and yelled a "hey!"
