(a/n: i'm sorry if this chapter isn't accurate i've only been to two weddings in my life and i was like under the age of 11 😭)

~aisha's pov~

"lars, hurry up! we have an hour and 15 minutes until the wedding!"

lars was taking forever to get ready for the wedding. he said he was going to try and look half decent for the wedding, as that's one of his best friends getting married, but i'm unsure of what's holding him back. he knows how to use a hair straightener; but what if he forgot and burnt off his hair?

"have you gotten your head stuck in the sink? get out of there!" i knocked furiously and frantically on the door. i could not be late to this special occasion.

"i'll be out in a minute!" he shouted back.

i rolled my eyes and crossed my arms, scoffing. "you said that 5 minutes ago!"

"he usually says that when he's taking a long time. he'll be out shortly, trust." mikel chimed in.

i nodded, heading back to the main room to stand around. i didn't want to ruin my hair or already get my dress wrinkly so i chose to stand around, regardless if my legs start to hurt. i know i'd be sitting in the car but it wouldn't be for long. mikel was sitting on the small couch situated by the window.

lars finally came out of the bathroom three minutes later, looking chic in his steel blue blazer, white button up, black slacks, and a gold chain to top it off as the colour theme was blue, gold, and white. i nodded in approval at his outfit choices for the wedding.

"look at my man looking all handsome!" mikel got up from the couch and admired his boyfriend.

i gagged at their sweet talk. "this is offensive to single people." i scowled.

they continued doing more of it to annoy me. i got up and grabbed my bag that sat on the bed and stomped towards the door; lars and mikel were still babying and sweet talking each other. they realized i started leaving and quickly grabbed their things and ran out, catching up to me at the elevator.

we took it down to the lobby and hailed a taxi to the location. we were all beyond excited for the day; our best friend was finally getting married! we waited forever for this day—i, not even sure i was going to go. thankfully i could!

it wasn't a long drive because the beach wasn't that far; we only decided to take a taxi because we had presents to bring. the roads were also busy because it was currently the middle of rush hour; more to add on to us most likely being late.

by some miracle we made it fifteen minutes later, and now 45 minutes until the reception started. lars paid the driver the fee and we stepped foot into the soft breeze emanating from the ocean, the salty scent following it entering my nose. the sun was on its way to setting; the sky still blue but the rays of the sun giving it a golden hue.

as i was walking to the beach, i spotted the golf cart emma had told me would take me to the tent that would have her getting ready in. i waved at the golf cart driver and told him i'd be driving to the tent where the bride was.

he nodded and i got on the tailgate, the guy immediately starting the vehicle. i took a couple pictures of the horizon; it was beautiful to say the least. honestly, the best sunset i've seen in a while. i could sit here forever and admire the view. we never get this in denmark!
