Since the thirteenth century there has always been the small fishing village of Mousehole. On the outside Mousehole was just like any other plain fishing village but far beneath the surface many great things transpired. These things ranged from small smuggling business to the humble beginnings of the dark queen. The dark queen was born to a normal household just like any other child of the time. She was born to normal plain parents who loved her as much as was humanly possible. That was until their death in the great fire that swept the nation, but due to the great bravery of a young sorcerer the child was saved.
He sorcerer being a relation of the parents took it upon himself to raise the child as if it was his own. He took the child everywhere with him as he traversed the great land going on his countless adventures. One day, when the girl was about eighteen he became aware that she was dying a slow and painful death from the inside out caused by a rare disease she had contracted at birth. The sourcer, now a man, made it his life's work to fix the girl, and after years of hard work he finally found a solution. A solution that would require the sacrifice of himself.
Because of his great love for the child he gave his own life and powers over so that the girl may live. Even with it all she still had to be put into a state of deep rest that would last a thousand years. When she awoke she would be incapable of death, and hopefully through the sorcerer.. A hero.
