(13) Darren's plan part two

"Im" said the demon-like figure before them, "Im, so cold..." Her words faded out as she collapsed, ceasing to float. "I'm cold?" repeated Polly, who was now even more confused than she normally was. "She must have been referring," begane Darren, "To whatever Tod used to defeat her. Maybe an ice ray or something of that sort."

Darren had Polly fling the Entity over her shoulder and carrie her, Polly found that she was surprising light, as it turned out The Entity(Whos real name was Cassie) was pretty short, and only looked all because she never walked, she only every floated, and her head was covered so you had nothing to use to find her true scale.

"Here's the plan" begane Darren, "You will keep about ten feet back, and I'll go ahead and clear the way to the exit." "Got it" said Polly, they had just exited the putrid smelling elevator and were now marching down the hallway.

Steven felt like such a fool, he had been watching a recording for the past forty five minutes, and he probably would have been watching for even longer if the screen hadn't glitched out for a split second. Now he, Trace, and Macy along with a few other agents that were prowling around trying to find the traitor.

"Any luck?" asked Steven through his com link to the agent running the cameras. "Sorry sir," he begane in a worried tone, "It looks like he thought of everything, I've been monitoring recordings this whole time as well." "Thanks." said Steven in a grunt.

They couldn't have gotten far, could they? Steven then stopped for a second, if this had been Dave's plan(He still doesn't know that his name is Darren) all along, then why have his own operative, the girl, get captured only for him to rescue her? No, he thought, He needs her for an inside job, this was all an elaborate trick to get her in, just so could sneak her into some file or something else that was off limits.

"Gaaa!" yelled out Steven. "What is Agent S?" asked the Trailer. "I know where I knew that girl from." Responded Steven. "Where?" "She was the girl at the convenience store where the supplement had just vanished. This is on me for not recognizing her sooner."

Steven had already taken out twelve agents and the exit was now in view, unlike Alex's escape attempt, his was destaine to end in triumph, or so it would seem...

Steven was waiting at the exit, alone. He was fairly certain he could detain Darren by himself. He couldn't figure out haad Darren had beaten so many of their agents but he was determined to hold his ground. After what seemed like an eternity, a figure wearing the classic TOAD armor came marching down the hall. Following somewhat behind was what he assumed to be the girl with what looked like a bundled up human on her back.

"So this is a kidnap attempt!" Yelled out Steven, making sure Darren could hear him. Darren didn't respond but united his laser sword thingy. "Traiter!" Yelled out Steven as he Charged at Darren, blade excited.

Darren threw his sword to the ground and twirled out of Stevns way, then quickly turned and landed a hand on Stevens arm, he then twisted and used all of his strength through his shoulder and to the ground. "OWWW!" when Steven. Darren then tried to slam his foot down on Steven's face but Steven rolled out of the way, then he jumped back up to his feet. He scrambled to pick up the laser sword that Darren had knocked out of his hand and turned to face his opponent who had done likewise.

Just at that moment two new agents came running down the hallway and cornered Polly. Polly did not believe in violence, but she did believe in defense. She pulled out the two laser knives Darren had given her and faced her opponents.

After that nothing much worth talking about happened in the fight, other than Steven cutting off Darren's arm only for it to vaporize and the steam that came from it flew onto Darrens stub of an arm. It then transformed into what had been his arm. After a few minutes of fighting and end was in sight. The two agents had cornered Polly after her blades had stopped working, and Darren had been knocked to his feet and was being held at knife point by Steven. Steven had figured out at some point in the fight that just like with Polly's old armor, Electronically A charged weapons could penetrate and destroy him.
