John looked at her, she looked back at him, he drew fist, shortly followed by melly. "Why are you doing this!" He shouted at the stone-faced girl. He received no response, only a slight shrug. It looked as if she was pensive, thinking about something he could only dream of understanding. "I thought we were friends. He still did receive an answer. "Fine then, but I don't want to hurt you!" After this commnet he received the first sign of life from the young girl. "I do"

They both charged, one to receive victory, the other to...Vanish? Melly slid to a halt and scratched her head. Where in the world could he have gone. All that was left was some right white dust floating in the wind. She looked back at the darkness and shrugged, he shrugged back.

"Movement in the trees!" yelled out James, he and his squad had just been ambushed on their way to the main mountain base. The pilot and a few others had already been shot and killed. "What are we going to do, there are a myriad of them?!" Yelled one of the privates to him. "James?" he said with confusion, for James was gone, and all that was left was some white dust.

Ron and his wife Cassie were enjoying a nice peaceful stroll through the city. This was their first time here since they met, they had mostly stuck to living in the countryside. Another thing contributing to the silence was the absence of their eight year old, Tod. "What a lovely night." said Ron, he wasn't one to speak much, he was really pusillanimous, but when he did it really caught Cassie's attention. She would almost always respond, which is why the quiet was a shock to him. "Cassie?" he said again, he turned his head only to see a cloud of white dust where she had been standing.

Darren was feeling good about his plan, he was on the bottom bunk, and Steven was on the top, snoring rather loudly to be honest. But it didn't bother Darren for he was to rapt in his schemes. "Tomorrow, is going to be a goo..." his voice faded of into nothing. Steveen sort of snorted, "di-d you just say something?".

Palmer was feeling good about himself, he had just united Ice, fire and obsidian nations under one rule. Now, he tries not to be vainglorious but this was his moment. He stood up on a high podium above his followers and supporters. He raised up his mighty scythe for all to see and he let out a cheer, the crowd went wild. That didn't last long, and their voices went from cheers, to worried shreeks. They had all just witnessed their fearless leader Turn a pale white then completely disintegrate into some white dust. "Palmer!" Yelled out Sam who ran to where he had been. She tried to scoop the dust up into her hands but it fell through. On her knees she wept.

All five heroes suddenly awoke in a damp old room. There was no light but the light from a lone lamp that hung from the cycling. All figures were confused, scared, and worried. They all began to question each other trying to figure out what was going on. They all heard a clap, and then two dark figures emerged from the shadows. Only one person from the group recognized them. Obsidian nation, thought Palmer.

"Where are we?" asked Cassie in a timid voice. "All questions will be answered soon, great hero." answered one of the two figures. "Wait just a second!" yelled Darren. "I know who you are," he said pointing at Cassie, "And you, and you!" He then pointed at James and then John, "Don't know what you are?" he said, then pointing at Palmer. "Good job, mighty one." Said the other figure. "Now would you all be so kind as to follow us," said the first.

"Ha-ha-how do you know me?" asked Cassie in a week, shaky voice. "You are not at all like the Cassie I knew, do you even have powers?" said Steven, instead of answering the question. In response, a small cluster of pebbles flew up in the air, all glowing red. "I'll take that as a yes." As they walked Darren explained to her who he was to her, and what she meant for him. He then told her of his plans. "But, why? Why do I end up like this?" She was clearly confused about the idea of a murders killing version of herself. "What was the last thing that happened to you, you know, before we were taken here?" Agine, he had avoided her question. "Well, I was going on a walk with my Hus-" She was cut off by Darren, "Bingo."
