Sarah was starting to get restless, she needed to be active, she needed adventure, excitement! It had been a while since she had last met up with Tyler, they had dated for a few months but he had to go back to work. She had been training to join TOAD but Tyler said she wasn't ready. She had argued that TOAD's founder had had no training yet still was able to establish the crime fighting agency but Tyler reminded her that the original founder had powers, she was just agile.

"This is it, the night I finally catch these monsters in the act." Said David to himself. He had been waiting outside the Tanner's house for eight hours now waiting in ambush. He checked his watch. "Any minute now." David was a part of the LA police department, he worked as a ground operative/detective. He had been working on investigating a string of disappearances for the past couple of months.

These cases were nothing like anh thing he had ever seen before, it was always the same unpredictable act, where at some point at ecstasy 12:00 every other day there would be a break in, nothing would be touched but one member of the household was always taken. At first he had believed this was a kidnapping but there was never any evidence of a struggle, it was almost as if the victims had just vanished. What made the case even harder was how random their attacks were. He along with half the police department had been looking for some sort of a pattern, but had found nothing.

That is until yesterday. David had been chilling at the local StarBucks when he saw a mysterious figure walk by Mr Tanner and hand him a note. He had observed Mr Tanner quickly read it, then fold it up into his breast pocket. Was it a real reason to stalk Mr Tanner, not really, but he had no better leads.

At precisely 12:00 a large white van rolled up beside the house, and three shadowy figures excitedly marched up the driveway. "About time." he muttered, and he turned around and came face to face with a bright red light! There was a sudden flash and he felt a kick to his stomach which sent him stumbling backwards. He began to rub his head and looked up to see three more of the cloaked figures.

Each one had a hood and a mask with a single red light in the center. It looked like they were wearing some sort of knights armor with a blood red cape on their backs. They had no apparent weapons, David did.

They began to close in on him but he pulled out his revolver and fired three shots in the air to show he meant business. "Stay back, you savages!" He called out, but not one strayed from their course. They were now a little too close for comfort so he aimed his gun at the left shoulder of the closest and fired. The creature didn't even flinch, and there was no apart wound on them. "The heck?!"

He then unloaded the rest of his magazine directly into the chest of the charter then through his gun on the side of the building he had been perched on down into the alley way so that it could not be used against him. They "Knights' ' had him pinned to the floor in seconds, each hitting him across the back of the head, balking up, letting their partner get a shot in then heading back for more.

Daid felt like he was about to pass out, in one last move of desperation he rolled to the side and attempted to bounce up but was too weak to do so and landed on back. All he had accomplished was that he was now facing his assailants. One of the knights lifted up their fist, and David braced himself for the inevitable blow. Except it never came.

He knew by the sounds around him he wasn't about to have his face removed so he decided to open his eyes, and what he saw shocked him. There was now a fourth figure, but this one was different. They were wearing a sort of wetsuit with a biker helmet and they had a beam of light coming from their wrist. The wetsuit person was now fighting the Knights! David then witnessed something that would haunt him for a while after that, the Wetsuit sword wielders sliced one of the knights in half and the knight disintegrated, only to come back tiger in a swirl of black dust.
