The next morning, Bakugou had woken up in a new room, he was almost panicked but then remembered that they were going to move him to a new room, he supposed it was best to do it while he was asleep.
Kirishima's parents and Kurai came to see them as well. Kirishima's parents went to go see their son, but they dropped Kurai off here with him. They also brought him some spicy food, he was happy to eat something that was actually tolerable.
"Have you gone to see him?" Kurai asked immediately after both Mrs. Kirishima's left. He gulped down the food he had in his mouth. Why was everyone asking him this?
"No, not yet," he honestly told her. He was hoping she would drop it after he said "yet" but that wasn't the case.
"Why not?" She asked, though her tone made it clear she was expecting an answer.
"I just..." He trailed off trying to find a lie but his mind was running a blank. Perhaps it was Kurai's red eyes burning into him with an intense stare that sort of intimidate him.
"You just blame yourself for hurting him and think he doesn't want to see you," she ferociously said. She was merciless. He had a little feeling of proudness for her but he hated that she was doing this against him.
"Yeah..." There was no denying it, it would be harder to lie to her then anything else. Though, he can now say that slap to his face was a little harder to take. Not that it hurt, thanks to Kurai's small arms not being able to make enough force. But the fact that she did was still surprising to him. And the fact he was mad she slapped him.
"Don't be an idiot, that's daddy's thing!" She scolded. "Daddy needs to see you and you need to see him!"
"But-" Bakugou wasn't able to finish that before he was interrupted.
"He's not going to be mad at you, it's really hard to make daddy angry," she huffed, crossing her little arms.
"Daddy and you knew each other for a long time, if anything, he'd be more worried about you," her little harsh tone died down to one of what he can only say was sympathy.
"Why?" Kirishima had no right to be worried about him right now. He was injured, he should worried about himself.
"Daddy's always like that, he always worried more about other people than he is himself," she explained. "That's what makes him a good hero."
"But he cares about you more because-"
"He loves me," Bakugou interrupted. That's what pushed the redhead to keep going, to find a cure for his memory loss. Because he loved and cared about him. He needed to go see Kirishima.
He didn't say a word as he lifted the blanket and got up. He helped Kurai get off the bed and walked out together to go find Kirishima's room.
When they found it, Bakugou got a little nervous. He was here now, he doesn't know how severe he had hurt the redhead. What if it was horrible?
He felt a small hand grab his and he was pulled out of his thoughts as he looked down at Kurai. The young girl grabbed his hand and had a determined look on her face. They can do this. He can do this. They walked in hand and hand.
He wasn't really able to see Kirishima at first, his mothers' were in the way. But once they both turned and saw him they moved away showing the couple the other.
Kirishima didn't look to bad, but that was just his arms and face, no telling what was on his chest and legs. They both looked surprised and nervous. What were they going to say? What was there to say?
