He hadn't gotten a wink of sleep. It was probably that nap he had. He still stayed in bed with Kirishima though. But they had rolled over, so he was laying on his back and Kirishima's head was laying on his pec.
So he was able to use his other arm that wasn't being laid upon, for other stuff.
For one, he decided to start reading one of the books he has saved on his phone.
It was... interesting. He didn't really expect to like romance novels, but he suppose he's full of surprises.
He sighs as he turns off his phone after reading the time: one-fourteen.
Why was the night so long!?
He placed his hearing aids back in. He didn't feel vulnerable in Kirishima's arms, it's just that he wants to hear.
He didn't think he would get that far into the book in one sitting, but he got through most of the beginning of the book. It hadn't felt that long. He must be a very good reader.
He lays his hand, from the arm that was being laid on, on top of Kirishima's head. Holding him there of some sort.
He closed his eyes again, but he's still not tired.
Why wasn't he tired? He doesn't feel anxious, he isn't uncomfortable, he isn't too hot, he doesn't understand!
Sure, he knows he had that nap, but he should still get exhausted at some point and fall asleep.
He looks down at Kirishima. The redhead, peacefully asleep, snuggled up on his chest. He smiled softly, at least he thinks he is.
He laid his head back down on the pillow and closed his eyes again. He's still not tired.

It was finally a little bright out. He needed to get out of bed. He slowly and carefully got out of Kirishima's grasp.
He wasn't exhausted. He felt like he should be, but he wasn't. He grabbed his phone and checked the time. Seven-twentythree. It wasn't too early to be awake. He went downstairs and brew up some coffee.
While that was going, he went to grab the cool book from the cabinet and began making breakfast. Kirishima has work today, but he has to go around nine, which isn't too long from now. He should be able to whip something up real quick for the three of them.
Except today, they actually have something to do. The redhead had asked him to go to the store, Bakugou wasn't so sure if he could remember how to drive, thankfully Kirishima had asked Mina to go with them.
So deep in his thoughts, he was surprised to feel arms wrapped around him. He craned his neck to look behind him to see a very tired Kirishima huddled on his back. He smiled slightly and went back to work. They had gotten so close now.
His mind tells him that, Kirishima did this a lot. It seemed to be whenever he was cooking something. Either the redhead was really tired and noticed his was out of bed, or he just wanted to be close to him.
He recalls times that he would roll his eyes at the gesture but never shoved Kirishima away. He blinks as his body seemed to remember the recipe he was making and continued when he was blind from memories.
"What are you doing up so early," Kirishima groaned.
"I didn't get much sleep at all..." He admits. Kirishima backs away slightly.
