"Will you read me to sleep Papa?" Kurai asked, leaving her room in a my melody button up pajamas.
"Uh...okay," he smiled. He wanted to play the part, like an actor. No memory of what he was like, but being told what he was like.
She grabbed his hand and led him into her room. Purplish gray walls and dark floors that a white rug was thrown over. She went to a white book shelf that held books. She looked through it before grabbing one and going towards her bed, tucking herself underneath hello kitty sheets after giving him the book.
A bad case of stripes.
He sat by her feet, her attention all on him, awaiting for him to begin.
Kirishima stood by the door, watching in as the blond read the story to Kurai. Well, also her toy rabbit, Yami.
After the book, Kurai was well sound asleep. He tucked her in better before standing up and leaving.
They get changed, separately, and went into their rooms. Bakugou felt bad to see how sad the redhead looked as he walked into the master bedroom where he thinks before he would join him in there. But he wasn't comfortable with that right now.
He needs to know the redhead more. He wants to know the redhead more.
He's stalling isn't he? He needs to think about those flashes he saw early that day. What were they? Why were they similar but different from the moment that was going on?
He tried to think but instead he got...a memory. Were those his memories? Were they coming back to him in a flash? No, that couldn't be it... could it?
Bakugou rolled over. He didn't want to think about it right now. He knew that he lost his memory. There's no way to get them back unless they find a way to reverse the quirk.

That phone call Kirishima had? It was Mina. She told him some new info on the quirk, that wasn't from the guy, and said that her and the squad will come over to check in on them. They asked Eri if she could do anything, but she said no. Since Bakugou no longer has those memories, she can't use her quirk. Again, they were unable to get anything out of the guy, since he refuses to cooperate.
It made Kirishima more worried. What if the guy doesn't even know and he's just tugging on their legs? Although he does appreciate the blond trying to fit into his role. Cooked dinner, read Kurai to bed, comforted her, ect. Although it pains him as well. Without Bakugou acting like Bakugou, it's almost like a stranger getting all close to him, close to his daughter.
He felt sinful, disgusting, unfaithful. He was falling for this blond and not in love with his husband. But that blond is his husband. But also not his husband.
His husband remembers his favorite food, his favorite place, his favorite movie, his everything. The only thing thos blond knows is his favorite food.
He spent the rest of the night, twisting and turning, missing the warmth his personal heater of a husband provided, as well as crying.
His daughter noticed yesterday, for being seven she certainly isn't stupid, although when she was six, when they first got her, she was anything but stupid. She's worried about him. He doesn't want her to, but...he's making it hard not to worry, isn't he?
